Free Mini Disney Snowglobe @ JCPenney's!

Who else plans on going to JCPenney's the day after Thanksgiving to get there free Mini Disney Snowglobe! I know I am, our store here opens up at 4:00 a.m.!

I have been collecting these for a long time too. Since they first started in 2000.
I just looked up the ad and you get a $10 coupon for the next days shopping. Good deal!
I didn't get out for the past two years because of my chemo the first year and ill last year but thanks to great people on these boards I got them.
This year I am going to be there early, after I get what I need at Target.
I am hoping I can help out someone here like others have helped me in the past.

i'm pretty sure the globe is free for just going into the store. or at least it was last year when we got ours.

The snowglobes are free. But don't go expecting them to be large. They're tiny. Just really cute.

Yes, all you have to do is walk into the store and they will give one to you! They are the mini size snowglobes, but they are very cute! And they are made out of glass, so not really good item to give to little hands.

They sound like the ones that I bought at Walgreens two years ago @ 3 for $10. I don't think I could get out of bed at 3:00 am for something worth $3.34.

Does anyone who has got these in past years know how fast these go???? Are there a limited number they have to give out??? I'm asking because I will be doing some shopping at JC Penneys but I also want to go to Limited Too and the mall doesn't open until 6am---I really don't want to spend 2 hours in Penneys --I would prefer to go around 5am not 4am--will they still have them then??? Thanks

I occasionally find one of those JC Penny snowglobes at yardsales for 25cents.
That's how I've gotten several of mine!

Can someone tell me when JC Penney's started distributing the Disney mini snowglobes? We first collected a Minnie Mouse in 2001. Was there also a Mickey in 2001? If there were globes before 2001, which characters were used?

I have all of them except for this year because I got held over at work until 7AM.

Prior to the Minnie and Mickey ones, they had 3 or 4 that you could get and it was random- Tigger, Dalmation, or Pooh- the 4th may have been Mickey but I haven't unpacked them yet to find out. This was in 2000. 2001 they had Mickey and Minnie- also randomly distributed and all of the years following, they only had Mickey so everyone got the same snowglobe.

If anyone has an extra snowglobe from this year, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands!! I helped out fellow disers the last couple of years and was going to do it again this year until my plans fell apart at 2AM!!

DD got the Dalmatian one from SIL for Christmas one year. It is really small but she loved it because Dalmatians were her thing for several years!

I sent my sister to get one because I had to work, but they were out. It's probably the smallest Penney's store still in existance. I wouldn't be surpised if they only have a handful. Next year, I'm going myself!

I was there at 4:00 am and got my first Disney snowglobe.... wouldn't you know that I took it out of my purse to get my wallet out and ended up leaving it on the counter! I was soooooooo disappointed! I searched through my purse 10 times before resigning to the fact that I lost it..... I wanted to use the $10 coupon, too but w/ the rain and cold I probably would have decided to freecycle it.... I was more upset about the snow globe!

Our nearby JC PEnney opened at 4 a.m. I was there by 5:20 and got a globe as I went through JCP t get to Disney store. WHen I came back through to leave around 5:40 they were totally out.

I headed off to Walmart at 3:30 am. DS 16 went to mall with his girlfriend & her mom. He actually got me the snowglobe! I starting collecting snowglobes last year. I was really shocked he thought enough to get it for me. Santa will be good to him this year.

I got mine! We've been getting them since 2002 and they are all Mickey. I didn't know they had Minnie before, she's my favorite!

I was able to get two extra this year for fellow disers. I was helped last year and the year before when I was not able to get to the store so I am glad that I can return the favor and help some of you this year.
