Free Mini Disney Snowglobe @ JCPenney's!

I was able to get two extra this year for fellow disers. I was helped last year and the year before when I was not able to get to the store so I am glad that I can return the favor and help some of you this year.

I have gotten them for the past 5 -6 years. I am not happy about the 4am, I liked the 6am of years past.

And disappointed that the $10 giftcertificate/coupon they toted was $10 off $50 not the $10 off $10+ that I expected. The add did not mention this little fact.

We usually get them every year, but we went to Wal-Mart first this year. We didn't get out of there until after 6. JCPenney was already out by the time we got there.

I missed out this year on the Free snow globe. I also missed out on 2005's ( I think) snow globe.

Was wondering if anyone had an extra one. Once I recover from my dislocated shoulder I will be pulling out my Christmas stuff. I think I may have one or two that I have extra (not sure haven't pulled them out since 2008).

I am so mad at myself I was babysitting my nephew and I didn't get out to get any, my dd14 has been saving them every year, she keeps them out on her dresser all year long. I will have to check out eBay and maybe I can add it to her stocking for a little extra surprise.

I have some extras from previous years (not sure what years, I will have to look) if anyone wants to do a trade.

cutefun and dislal, I have two more if you are interested in them. I went with 4 other people and they didn't want the globes so they gave them to me to give to some DIS people who might have missed out.
there were two or three times in the past few years that I couldn't get out either because of my illness or my grandson was ill and the people on the DIS boards always helped me out so I never missed a year since 2000.
I posted on another topic about them and gave two away already. Send me your address and I will get them out to you on Monday.

If someone wants to sell it then they can try. I checked out ebay and there are at least 50 maybe more for sale some as low as $.99 and some as high as $49 (what are they crazy?)
I am hoping that the people I am sending my extras to will keep them for their collections but if they dont they I hope they get top dollar for them and have a Merry Christmas.

I have missed out on all the 2000 ones Tigger, Winnie The Pooh and Dalmatian, along with 2005, and this years.

I had to laugh when I was reading some other boards about Black Friday and came across a lot of complaints on JC Penney because of the snow globes. Apparently their ad said they opened at 4 am but lots of stores opened earlier. You can just about guess what happened when the 4 am people got there and the globes were long gone.

bpesch I hear ya. I would have been very upset if I headed to JC Penney's with my dislocated shoulder and took a chance of injuring it more just to be told the snow globes were all gone.

So I decided to stay home and see if I could find one some how, some way.
