I read a post here on disboards from 2010, in which the poster said that they got a free Kitchen Sink, along with a certificate, because they were able to eat the whole thing by themself. Is that still offered (not that I am in the least bit interested in trying!)?

1) I guess anything is possible.
2) But, I am sure the certificate wasn't for eating.
3) I think it was for being able to WADDLE out after the solo-eating.

B&C doesn't do this and probably never did.

There are a number of ice cream places that also have a "kitchen sink" and do make it a challenge to get it free or a t shirt.

Not sure what that post said but Disney would never do anything to overtly promote overeating. They no longer refer to their buffets as all you can eat but all you care to enjoy.

I have seen a Man vs Food episode where the host did eat an entire dessert called the "Kitchen Sink" and did get something like a t shirt maybe this is somehow wrapped up in the story.
