Free internet response from WDW tech

I called tech today from BWV to try to pin down a date for free internet. The memo that was read to me over the phone still said only Spring, 2008, and that may change as well. The memo says that the date will be posted on DVC website as soon as it is available. I am hoping that, like the Luna pool refurbishment, the projected date is worst case scenario and we may be celebrating early. In the meantime, thanks to Big River Grill for the free WiFi sharing, and thanks to Lexxiefern for the tip!

Thanks for the info. We check in at OKW on 3/9 and I am hoping BIG TIME that the free internet is available by then so I don't have to listen to techie hubby gripe about the high costs of a connection (when it is free on all the little motels we stay at on the trip down).

Yippee! This is all news to me. I thought Disney would charge indefinitely for internet. Thank goodness they wised up and will make it free. I hope it's ready by our Thanksgiving trip.
