Hey all,
We are looking at staying in DLP next year. There is currently an offer for free half board for all over 3 years old when staying at their hotels.

One of my kids is 3 years old the week after we leave DLP. I have checked the price of the room if she was 3 or 2 and its the same price.
The problem is she only gets free food when having a buffet if she was 2 years old. The restaurants we were looking at are all table service ones, inc Cafe Mickey.

Does anyone know what would happen if I was to book the hotel while 'accidentally' putting down the wrong date of birth for her so that she would be 3 for the booking, and hopefully getting the meal vouchers for her?

Has anyone out there actually accidentally put down a wrong DOB for someone in their booking and did anything happen?

Yours secretly
;)

You'll really need to ask this question in the Disneyland Paris forum. At Disney World, you'd have to purchase a ticket for the three year old. I don't know if it's the same at DLP.

I'm sure cheating on your kid's age to get free food is frowned upon in France also.

Someone replied, thinks they check passports when guests check in.
That sounds right to me, I remember that happening when we visited France.

At WDW even the cms encourage it and will change the age of the child when booking. You end up paying for a ticket when you wouldn't otherwise. She's wanting to age the child up, not down.

DLP is another thing, but this isn't discouraged at all at WDW.

From the OP, it looks like she wants to use the 3 year old age in order to get the meal credits but use the 2 year age to eat free at the buffets. Which would be discouraged at WDW. I'm not clear if DLP requires the purchase of park tickets in order to get the free meal credits. But I have heard that folks from the UK cannot "age up" a child at WDW. So the same may apply to DLP.

I am sure most people even at DLP would find lying to get something for free to be immoral. Heres an idea, pay the right amount based on what something costs and don't be a jerk.

Depending on the hotel you are at the basic free half board offer at DLP might limit you to buffets anyway.

When we visited DLP, every person's Passport was checked at Front Desk.
