I ordered them this past Friday, and just got an email that they were shipped out Tuesday evening. They are shippping from Washington state.

One slight quibble: I selected USPS and they were shipped Fedex. I;m having mail held for a bit, and I am now worried about FedEx leaving a slip. I was able to go to Fedex website and hold it at a location, but it should have just been mailed USPS so I don't have to do that.

My son has complex glasses.. usually about $200 per pair. Even with the "free" code, we still had to pay about $60. He needs thinner lenses, plus shipping and insurance. Basically the frame ($120 frame) and about $2.00 of the shipping was free. Either way $60 is better than $200.

I got a pair of Guess glasses for $15 and couldn't be happier! My Mom also ordered a pain and she really liked hers. They also sent a mini screwdriver keychain which is really useful! They also sent a lense cloth (which is kind of crappy) and a free coupon for a friend.

Have checked their website and Facebook. I saw the Free Frames promotion. However, their 1.50 standard lenses were $9.95. It seems that they are starting to jack up the lens prices. So even if the frame is free, the price of the whole pair of glasses is still higher than before. I would like to go with Zenni Optical where I can find the free 1.50 and 1.57 SV lenses.

I was very happy with Coastal Contacts, I ordered with one of their free offers, paid a few dollars more to get a special lense, still way cheaper than my optomistrist. The last pair of glasses I purchased at my optomotrist's was $500.00 ...yes , you're reading that right..I decided right then that I would never again purchase through him.

What I l ike about Coastal Contacts, as opposed to Zenni is that Coastal Contacts has name brand frames ( a quality product), whereas Zenni glasses are cheap, made in China frames and lenses. My Dh ordered from Zenni, eyeglasses plus the magnetic sunglasses..every time he makes a move the sunglasses pop off! Needless to say he's not a very happy camper.
