Take note that the fast passes expire within... I want to say ... 3 days from activation (when they give them to you). I know as we took the tour on our first day there back in February, and promptly got hit with the flu (I love planes). By the time we were hobbling along well enough for the parks & rides they had expired.

I guess I have been a DVC member longer than most. We got no freebies when we purchased, but as an incentive to buy back then ( Feb 3, 92 ), we got free length of stay park passes every time we went to WDW for 8 years. You all know how expensive they are. I think I made back everything I paid for my membership on those park passes.

We didn't get any free stuff other than the ice cream. I think that's because we were picked up at down town disney. However, we thought it was fun and we knew it was a good thing when we had to practically drag our kids out their play room after the tour.

Twinklebug I have to disagree our fastpasses were good for more then 3 weeks.

On the inside flap of the sleeve our fast passes were in it said that each pass card was good for three immediate fast passes. It also said that the passes would expire after four days from issuance.

We still had a few cards left as we were walking out on our last day, so we gave them to a family of three that was walking in.

It was interesting to see their faces change from thinking we were pulling some type of scam to... "we are leaving and would like to give you these instant fast passes before they expire"...
