***DUMB QUESTION ALERT!!!***
I booked STVS, and would like to upgrade to Hd, but here's my question... My DF has a PS3 which plays blu-ray. but I want to give my parents a copy, and they only have a regular DVD player. Can you get HD on DVD or is it only blu-ray? TIA!!!

I was given two disks, one blu-ray and one that would play on my regular dvd player. The best I can figure out, it is hd also, but just doesn't show as good as the blu-ray disk does. Kind of like how Good Morning America is in hd, but not all of us have an hd tv, it looks more crisp, but not as good as it does to those with a hd tv.

Yes, due to this thread we have now booked Stan for our wedding this coming November. We were thinking about using him but this moved his name to the top of the list.

Anyway, I believe our package - the Deluxe Custom Classic Edit - comes with the blu-ray copy (which we have upgraded to) and 6 regular DVD copies - maybe I should hand them out on a street corner - thats a lot of copies - but I guess one will go to my dad and one will go to my DF's dad one for us and 3 extra if we need them for anyone else. If you are doing a smaller package you can purchase additional DVDs. On his price list it is $25 for an extra DVD and $50 for an extra blu-ray copy.

Has anyone used any of Stan's "Special Effects"? We are getting married in Epcot so we do not need the Castle in the Window and we are not using the coach so we don't need these but I watched his one minute sample of his "Wishes" ending and I started crying so I guess that will be added to our package.

I am also looking forward to receiving the new book he is including.

Thanks for the responses ladies! That actually works out perfect to just get one copy! I'm pretty sure we are the only ones that have blu-ray anyways.
