Some resorts (POFQ) have a horse/carriage ride you can take. I'm not sure if there is a charge or not?
I went with an ex one year and the woman in the CBR gift shop suggested a picnic for valentine's day (we were there Val day week). There are many places that are romantic at many of the resorts where you can do this!
Ride any of the dark rides (i.e., Haunted Mansion) just before closing and make out like teenagers on the ride. It will set the mood for when you get back to the room.
I really enjoyed a walk around the Boardwalk after a dinner at Flying Fish - It was dark and beautiful and the Epcot Fireworks went off while we were out ther (granted out DD was with us but it was very romantic)
We took a carriage ride at Port Orleans French Quarter - it was AMAZING!!! Needed to make ressies and tip the driver but it was great!!! So much fun. My daughter still talks about the horse "prince" that took us on our ride (and we went in 08)
Go have a nice dinner and watch the fireworks together. Enjoy a bottle of wine and some desserts in the room.
There's a piano player in the bar at POFQ. Do the carraige ride, listen to a little music, have a snack, take a stroll and then head back to the room to finish off the evening.
you can do the carriage ride at wilderness lodge too. love the picnic idea.
something i like, that might not be everyone's type of romantic, but renting the water mice at any of the MK resorts. You can both ride in one, and its a nice way to be away from everyone but still see all the fun that disney is. You can also rent bikes and go for a long bike ride over there.
