Free Food

Rookie! My family of 12 can fit nicely into a room at POP. We bring a crock pot and always have dinner waiting for us! We order tripple cheese burgers and always ask for a few extra buns (free)! Before we went I found several old re-fillable mugs at garage sales (free drinks for all)! :woohoo:
Yes....I am calling your bluff on this one :thumbsup2

Did you also bring the cans of corn to be eaten on the steps of City Hall on Main Street?

Hahahahaha! I am sure you posed your 6 year old as under 3 as well. :rotfl2:
Big deal. Anyone can do that. It takes a special group of people to create the "If they fit in a stroller, Disney lets them in free" rule!

Disclaimer: We're still looking for a thirty year old-plus 'guinea pig' to test the theory :rotfl:

Ooooh, I want to play too.

I rent a motorized scooter even though there's nothing wrong with me so I can cut right to the front of every line on every ride...it's good to beat the system.

I also tell every snack food vendor in all the parks that it's my birthday every day I go, so that maybe one of them will give me a snack for free, cause it's my birthday.:rotfl::rotfl2:

Oh, and all my children are still under three!:yay: I have the biggest 2 1/2 year old at University too.

We just use any old cup for the free refillable drinks for life. Or a Wonder Bread bag, those work well too.
A can of corn makes a great snack in the parks, cheap and filling.
We park for free at the Contemporary by telling them we just want to take a look at the property.
We do a DVC tour with fake info to get the extra Fast Passes and free ice cream a couple of times per trip.
The best pools to pool hop at are the DVC properties. Oh and we like Bonnet Creek's pool too, why limit yourself to Disney properties. They all have changing rooms for guests waiting for their rooms to be ready, so no worries there.
We always take home a 'new' set of towels and sheets to offset the cost of the trip.
We walk through the buffets, load up a plate, and dump it into our backpacks. If you never sit down they never give you a bill so technically we are not running out on the check.
In the parks ask for a free ice water. Then send your child back with the empty cup saying they spilled their drink. It helps with the story to actually dump the ice water on your child, plus it cools them down.
We fit 8 people in the Pop Century rooms, and we split the cost with another family of four. Grown-ups get the beds, kids on the floor. Everyone is happy.

Next.

You guys are hilarious!! :rotfl2:

We take home the towel animals that the hotel staff makes.
First thing we do when we get into our room is take all the shampoo/conditioner/soap and request more.
We bring empty bottles to the free international soda place at Epcot so we never have to buy drinks in the parks (the Japanese soda is the best :)).

Oh, never thought of that one before.....will have to do that next time!

Dawn

I got a triple stroller and call all the kids 2 even though only 1 of them is. They might be on to us by now my son who is 13 no longer looks like a little boy.

We pretend our family is at the front of lines so we don't have to wait we just scoot our way through the line.

I really do hate to burst your bubble, DisneyWhiz, but if you ask the CMs there - it's okay to do this. You're not getting anything over on Disney :umbrella: Sorry to be the bearer of 'bad' news :teeth:

Oh, I wish I didn't know this. . .there a couple of flavors in there that I've always wished I could have a "real" drink of. Will have to save my drink cup next time I'm there to use. This will totally mortify my DH!

:eek:I'm calling BS on this one. First off, who carries SALAD in their backpacks? Second, read the trip report in his signature...this just isn't true. Now, figuring out WHY someone would want to post untrue stuff online just to make people mad is another question.

I'm thinking...trying out for reality TV show?

Or

A major Harry Potter/Universal fan trying to start something on the Disboards?

Or

Writing a book and trying out his skills on unsuspecting people who believe him? FYI - you're not JK Rowling.

Any other ideas?

Lastly, if it is true - well... EEK!

I agree.. don't think this is a "real" post...

Sometimes it's more fun to play along than to "carry on." Like this..

Hopefully, OP, you weren't there the same day we were. DD3 likes to play, "Do I like the taste of this?" at the PB fixin's bar. She tries a bite, and if she doesn't like it, it goes back on the bar.

:thumbsup2:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Actually I do take home all the shampoo/soap/conditioners from resorts & donate them to the Ronald McDonald house since I usually take mine to the resort to use... I know your post was meant as a joke, but I did want to plug my cause in here...:thumbsup2 So next time.. please do really take them (but don't be rude asking for more ;)) then donate them to your local RMH, if you have one near you. If not, any woman's shelter (or homeless) will take them too....:goodvibes

you all are missing out on the hidden gem of ft wilderness. Just load up the bbq and pool stuff and head over to the meadows. Just snag a site near by in the 1500 or 900 loop for fixin lunch on the grill. Don't forget to bring a mug for the free soda.
Then just hop on a bike to go for a bit of fun. They're every where. And if you're smart you can just grab a golf cart.
Want to know what's on that island across the way... Just swim over to it for a good time.
And end your day with a free movie. Bring a stick and i'm sure some one will share their marshmellows with your cute kid.

Haha no problem! I never knew that, so thanks for letting me know :thumbsup2 It's just that I've never seen anybody do that before.

i take all of the toiletries available home then I donate them to the vfw to send in care packages for the soldiers. Of course I don't ask for extras either but whatever is in the room is taken home.
