Free Fall into All Stars Fridge Swap- Fridge is Lost!!!!!

I sent a message to the coordinator, but wanted to post here as well. We have to pull out of the swap. Our oldest boy got sick and we had to push our vacation date back. We were suppose to have it from the 12th thru the 17th of this month.

I did not get a message from you, but MrsAlly contacted me yesterday to let me know. I contacted ASMusic luggage services to tell them you were not coming and to put the next swapper's name on the fridge. I also have contacted daileyad to tell them the fridge is at ASMovies and to let me know if they have any problems locating the fridge upon arrival.

Sorry you had to change your plans and I hope your son is feeling much better. MrsAlly sent me a PM. I was concerned that luggage services would think the fridge was abandoned if they noticed your arrival date and you did not pick it up, but all seems well now.

The team there are great so I'm sure they had no problem switching out the information!!

Just back today from our trip! Upon our arrival at All Star Music the fridge was already in our room and plugged in! I was amazed! It worked great all week and we left our container of water bottles in front of the door to make sure it didn't open on its own. The bellhops also delivered a coffee pot which I wasn't expecting. The coffee pot was actually broken but we discovered that you could heat up one cup of water at a time in it fine for tea or instant coffee.

I took the fridge down for storage last night. McDuff called me this afternoon to say they couldn't locate it though I gave her the claim check number I had so I hope it has all been figured out now.

Thanks for checking in with us and I'm glad the fridge was a help for your trip. I hope McDuff was able to locate the fridge as I haven't heard from her. When I called a couple weeks ago, they mentioned a coffee pot and I told them I didn't know if someone on our swap had left it or not. That is thrilling that they had already delivered your fridge and had it plugged in!

Mhmcduff contacted me to say luggage services gave her a fridge but it is not ours. The previous swapper told us the fridge was already set up and in their room when they checked in but it was labeled with "Keep on Swapping" so that is not our fridge. Mrs Ally and NavywifeBreezy can you please contact me to let me know if this was the same fridge you also had during our swap, I need to know the last sighting of our fridge and I will see what I can do to try to track it down. I have to work all weekend and I will try to call this evening, but there is a good chance no one will be of much help until a weekday morning.

Good news, our fridge has been located! mhmcduff was very kind to track down the correct fridge for us. There is no coffeepot with our fridge and the one with the incorrect fridge was broken so it has been discarded.

Glad it was found, it is a great fridge so hope it doesn't happen again, the guys who run the bellhop/storage room for ASMo are great and know the fridge well!!
