GREAT!! I will contact them, and also is there anything that I can contribute? Or should I just check on this thread to see what condition the stroller is in? First time I have ever done this...have rented and the double stroller I rented was in terrible condition...never again...and the stroller rental at Disney is CRAZY...and I have dragged two strollers with me..but now that I have to pay extra, forget it! Disney sure makes it tough on families with little ones to afford it. Thanks again for coordinating this...I think it is a wonderful thing.
 

Hi. We just got back from Disney yesterday. Had a GREAT vacation.

The stroller is in very good condition. We pumped all 3 wheels back up when we arrived and all worked perfectly. Maybe the fabric could need a washing, but nothing mayor. Just normal wear. I cleaned it with a damp cloth as best I could.

It works perfectly. It should last a long time. I have a picture of my kids on it, I just need to figure out how to post it here. Anyone know?

Thanks to all of you we had a wonderful stroller and my kids, my husband and I really loved having it. I so wish we could go back.

Hey delmar - looks like you guys are still going and the stroller has been replaced at least once more. We are trying to plan another trip for February (were going to do a short October trip but got scared off when someone told us it was super crowded last year). But it looks like you're closing the swap down late January so I'll miss it! Pooh. I guess I'll start checking consignment sales or other swaps (don't have time right now to start my own swap).

I hope all is well. I sent you an email to the address I had for you the other day. If you didn't get it I can PM you.

When I checked in and tried to locate the stroller, it was not there. I contacted the person ahead of me and got the confirmation and still nothing. They could find nothing with my name, the number, nor an unclaimed stroller that fit the description. We asked about tracking it with the confirmation number and they told us it was not possible. They stated all the confirmation number means was that it was dropped off.

We went back and checked 3 times over the course of our trip. We just returned home late last night....don't know if there is anything else that can be done, but I couldn't think of anything. Sorry. This was my first swap....which hasn't gone too well!

Did you check at the other person's resort?

I'm sorry the stroller was not at your resort and you didn't have one to use. That's really upsetting and I hope you didn't have to pay for one of the Disney strollers. :sad2:

Have you contacted the person after you to let them know the stroller is MIA?
 
well the stroller might have fallen victim to Pop's Luggage Services. One of the other swaps had their stroller go MIA and L&F at POP said that they have a new policy for strollers left overnight. They simply put them outside and let any guest take them.

That's simply unacceptable and I'll have to start calling around to find it but I'm not sure how successful that will be.

At this point our swap is closed until further notice. Please make alternative arrangements for a stroller.

Paid swappers if you dont' hear from me in the next day or so please PM me.
 
I did contact the person after me, hoping she got the message. Also, the previous persons resort was Pop. She left it with them on the 30th I can't think of anything that could have happened other than they got rid of it? :confused3 It wasn't being transported between resorts or anything.

Did you try looking under the last name of the person in front of you? When we checked in and requested the stroller they told us they did not have anything. Luckily, we found someone who was very kind and willing to help. It ended up that the person in front of me had a name tag on it and the claim ticket was shoved inside of the stroller where it could not be seen.

I hope this helps and I will keep my fingers crossed that the stroller is found!!!

The list indicated she was staying at Port Orleans. I guess I missed an update that she switched over to POP.

I believe Shruley went into the storage room to look for the stroller and none there were ours.

WOW - What a bummer! We were supposed to arrive on Saturday (9/12) and pick up the stroller.

I am sorry Delmar to hear of the goings on... I Pm'D you on the 10th about the stroller, as I have it scheduled for 09/26-10/02. I had read the first page and it said to contact you if we were not contacted.

I am sorry to hear that the stroller went missing. I had it in late July/early August.

I too had a problem with the polynesian not being able to find the stroller, remember? The luggage people seem to not care so much if your stroller goes missing. You really have to pressure and nag them or they won't even check.

I don't think they'd hesitate to give away a stroller to just anyone.

Just had to comment---this aspect of Disney service I was not happy with at all.
