i was looking on the uk disney web site and noticed this offer
Buy a package or 14 or 21 day ticket and recieve a free snow globe.
there is a picture of the globe.
does anybody know what sort of size this is???
i know the tickets are dearer but for the extra few pounds might be worth it.
cheers

Looks quite nice :) Thanks for bringing it to our attention :teeth:

As it includes lights and music I would think it was a standard sized snowglobe but it is very difficult to tell from the photo as there is nothing else in there to use as a reference.

On the web site it has the 14 day ticket for £169 - £4 cheaper than Attractions Tickets Direct and seems to include the snow globe.

According to the Disney booking line, the globe retails at $95 in the US !

Oh my!

Anyone got a picture??

I saw the globe- it looks very nice. I am thinking it would be worth getting the tickets from there now!!!!! If you go on the disneyworld homepage for the UK it is on there.

Hello

I bought my tickets from there yesterday
paid £50 deposit for each ticket.

You get a voucher for the globe to collect
at the resort.

Disney sell it a $95, whether it's "worth" $95 is a different question ! I too have made a booking but wont be able to collect mine until September :guilty:

could whoever gets it first post a description please !!

Just a FYI - snowglobes are not the easiest things in the world to get back to the UK (the full size ones are quite big and quite heavy!)

The best way we have found is to bring them onto the plane as hand luggage - we have brought two back this way fine. This was with Virgin & BA I don't know if there would be a problem with other airlines, but there was no problem when I did it with these airlines :)

i go in august so if i manage to get one (if there are any left!!!) i will let you know what its like.

Looks nice! :) Unfortunately, you have to travel before 30th September and we don't go until October! :sad1:

For those of you who do get one - congratulations! Beats getting a fridge magnet or a keyring! :rotfl2:

We booked direct last year and recieved a free gift, and it is really lovely, worth a fair bit we think about $100 at least as we saw a smaller version for $70.

That's the snowglobe. We're tarvelling on the 23rd Sept, looks like you can get it if you just order tickets too, you don't need a hotel stay - yay!!!

Thanks Queenie :) :)

OK I can help with the size. It is a full size globe - I have got the book that you see on the left of the picture (pink & purple) which is A4 sized to give you an idea of perspective.

It is a lovely globe :)
