Free Disney shirt hacks is this really a thing?

I was reading a story about a girl who wore a shirt that was cut really short almost like a swim suit top, she posted on her tick tok that Disney CMs took her in a gift shop and gave her a shirt.... she was all upset and looking for sympathy from viewers, as I was applauding Disney on not letting her break dress code in front of familes.
As I kept reading there were links to how to get a free shirt at Disney where others did this on purpose to get free shirts.

My kid showed me this a while ago and said it was her plan to get a free shirt next trip. Umm, no, I don't think so This may have really happened, but now that it's all over tik tok and other media too many people will be trying it and finding themselves kicked out of the park or having to purchase something with their own money.

I've seen a few people on social media get away with this, and more are going to do it just for the free shirt. They need to be asked to leave. One I read about today she claimed she'd never heard of an amusement park having a dress code

I think Disney should just get cheap t-shirts made that say “This is my free Disney shirt for a dress code violation” on it and make it neon green.

Years ago, they would keep some T-shirts that were being marked down or sent to Cast Connection or the outlets to give guests who had inappropriate clothing. They didn’t get to choose. Give them a plain white Fruit of the Loom T-shirt, poor judgment shouldn’t be rewarded or reinforced! Yikes, I sound like my mother!

That's what I'm assuming. I read where one girl was wearing a shirt that showed under boob. How did she get through at all?

To the OP - yes this is definitely a thing. My dd told me about this "hack" awhile ago.
Disney should either escort them out or give them a plain white tee to wear. In this day and age when people are out to get whatever they can for nothing rewarding them with a free shirt of their choice is just going to encourage more idiots to do the same.
