Just to let you know, you can now book the free Disney dining deal through Travelcity Direct for 2008.

We have booked Coronado Springs for 12 nights and 2 nights Royal Pacific at Universal next August - last 2 weeks of school holidays for just over £3500 - this includes Ultimate Disney passes for 3 of us (2 adults and a 14 year old) but no transportation as we using Tiffany Towncars again and doesnt include Universal tickets. You can only book a moderate hotel at Disney and above and can of course choose 14 nights in Disney with free dining for all of us (ie snack, counter service meal and table service meal per person per day) and would have been even cheaper but it was our own choice to go to Universal again - can't resist.

I think that this is a brilliant deal - it's like an All Inclusive holiday in Disney with a massive choice of restaurants - nearly all restaurants are included and you can chosse from the regular menus. Instead of taking £1500 plus in spends we are planning on taking about £500 - plus our credit cards just in case;)

Great to hear you got a good deal, wish they did 25 night packages, shame they only do 2 week packages. Priced it up with Virgin for 25 nights they wanted almost £5,000 without tickets (2X AD +1 X 14y.o same as you).
Remember your starters are not included next year, neither are the tips.

Cool - see you at the Dig Site pool! We check in on the 15th and depart on 27th for our last two nights at Universal.

Looking to book for next aug for 17 nights from 13th aug- 30th aug, albeit the virgin flights aren't released yet with virgin -atlantic.com, it looks like it is going to be cheaper to book the hotel and tickets with wdw direct and then book seperate flights with virgin, vh's are quoting £4306 for port orleans riverside for 2 adults and 2 children 13&12, there in no ultimate hopper pass with this this has to be purchased at an additional cost of some £800!!
Walt dis travelco are quoting just over £2000 for hotel and tickets included at po riverside, looking at the flights i am reckoning on them being about £2600 -£2700, looks like i am ging to save myself some money. The only query is whether wd travel provide free transfer to the hotel, i will sort my car hire after i have settled in for a few days.

Have you done it this way before? i never have but was led to believe its a lot cheaper prebooking in UK. We always have car from start to finish, hate buses with a passion.:rotfl2:

Hi Jono

You will definitely be able to book Disney's Magical Express bus transfer (free) if you book to stay at a Disney hotel with WD Travel.

I agree with wayneg, much better to book your car before you arrive.

You can always take the Magical Express anyway and pre-arrange to pick up a car from one of the onsite locations a few days into your stay.

have had a car for the full duration, part of the fortnight or 3 weeks or not at all, dont have to have a car to enjoy disney onsite. Can book a car for 1-21 days here in uk to pick up and drop of when you like,go for what you want not what people tell you

Hi all, I fully intend to book the car hire in the uk, but don't fancy using it or picking one up until we are all settled in the resort, have used the disney car centre before using alamo, is this still there,? went 2 yrs ago. With regard to the virgin flights i am reliably informed not to book on the day the window opens, the price drops the next day apparently might save me £50/£60 or so, i have also heard that booking the same flights with expedia is once again about a tenner cheaper per person.I am looking for info re the magical express transfer using the wdw travel company, couldn't find any info on the uk site

Absolutely!

The other onsite lcation being at the Swan / Dolphin, near Epcot

If you book with a Uk agent say TCD for the free dining promo do the tickets get put on the room key when you arrive or do you still have seperate tickets from TCD?
