Do they ever offer free dining between Thanksgiving and Christmas? That's when well be going for our Disneymoon and I'm wondering if I'm getting my hopes up for nothing. Also if the free dining just the DDP or DxDDP? If it's just for DDP, is DxDDP discounted at all? Thanks

they haven't before. I can't say they never will, but at this point no. Its generally only Late august and ends in September. I've seen ppl stretch into the first week of October, but that's the best I've seen done.

They've only ever offered in between Aug. & Sept. and the Dxddp was extra for the people who booked the bounce back offer. Linda

For Deluxe Dining, you pay the difference between "free dining" of $37.99 and $67.99...Another words, when "free dining" is offered, $30.00 per day extra per person for deluxe dining....

Wondering if it will work the same way if/when free dining is offered Aug/Sept..If one wants deluxe, will you pay the $30 per day extra fee???????

We bought the deluxe and I'm just hoping that I can get a discounted rate (like previously mentioned). Free dining or not, we're still going this year and planned on paying for the deluxe, it'd be nice to have a bone thrown our way though.

Sorry, but jmo based on the last 3 years of Free Dining (for general public) don't get your hopes up

Free Dining in 2005 was 8/21/05 - 10/4/05
Free Dining in 2006 was 8/13/06 - 9/30/06
Free Dining in 2007 was 8/26/07 - 9/22/07

I think they offer it at that time of year because it is a historically slow time of year at WDW (kids going back to school, etc) and is in Hurricane season also.

There should be some other discounts/deals that come out for your dates though - based on those same previous years they should show up sometime in Aug/Sept for stays in your time period so keep watching here on the DIS for news!

I agree you should not get your hopes up. During that time just look for a discount and be happy. December is a very popular month. And early December is Pop Warner filling rooms.
