free dinning plan?

I remember in Oct 05 (around that timeframe) people we getting a free meal package witht here hotel reservations. How did that work? Was that a one time offer? does anyone know if/when they are planning to do that again?
I am looking to book for Oct 06 - but hsoudl I wait to see what will happen. last year I booked like 2 days after the promo was over

The promotion was for the end of August (24th, I think) to October 4th. You had to book a package with rack rate rooms and tickets. Most people do not believe it will be offered again this year as it was a good way to show people about the dining plan. We loved it so much, we are paying for it this year, as I think a lot of others are doing. Of course, they may have a special, but it will be June/July probably before they announce it.

i thought the same thing too
but when i figured out all what my DS7 and I ate, I wa no where close to the reg. dininning plan costs!
shall I just wait it out? Or book now and pay for food as I did before?

It does not work well for some, so you may be one of those people. If you do not eat enough food to justify the cost, then I would not get it. DH and I do, plus that lets him order whatever without worrying about the cost. Were you planning to get a package without the dining or a room only? Either way, if you book now, you can try and change it if a code comes out. Just keep checking the boards and call as soon as you see one. I book through Dreams Unlimited, though, and they check it for me, as well as make my ADR's. That may be an option for you. It is no cost to you for using them, and they answer all your questions.
