Starting looking to book for August 2014, think weve can book April/May. Usually stay @CR, its a deluxe resort, so normally get the DDP, however Ive noticed that despite prices going up-theyve reduced the dining plan to QSDP.

Although I'll probably look around in the next few weeks, does anyone know its thats the same with all hotels?
just saves me lots of looking around.

Just done a bit of looking around.
Looks like you only get the QSDP now and have to upgrade to the DDP.
Should have guessed, this usually happens each time I want to book.
Prices go up and something gets taken away from the package.

Its just the latest offer that has been reduced to QSDDP, previous offers have been for regular DDP in Deluxe resorts. I guess they are trying to get people to book early by reducing benefits nearer it gets.
For 2014 they will no doubt get everyone booking up early if they give regular DDP again.

yeah I spotted theyve only just changed the offer, I always keep checking the prices each month just to keep myself updated.

I hope its as you think a new offer-just to stop people booking late.
and not the worst case scenario of a change.

Fingers crossed when they release the new packages, it will be back to DDP

Sorry to be butting in......but just when I saw this I had a look at my own DDP offer and on any hardcopy brochures from wdtc its saying that a refillable resort mug is included but online its saying that only the QSDP and the DxDDP that have the mug included. Please tell me its not yet another little cut back???

The info may be out of date. It used to only be the DxDDP and QSDP that got the mug but last year they added it to the regular DDP too.

yeah theyve added the mug to all plans-makes it so much simplier.

Virgin said theyre previewing the new brochures and deals-so looks like it may be the QSDP after all. Disney UK have the same offers too.
