Free Dining?

I am a DVC member visiting during the free dining promotion, am I eligible to receive the free dining as long as I pay for the park tickets?

Only if you book a package direct with Disney's Central Reservations. DVC reservations made by MS are not eligible for free dining.

stated another way: "Free" dining is a promotion to sell hotel rooms at or nearly at the full rack rate during slower times. If you book a DVC room with Cash via the standard disney resevation system, then yes you can get the free dining.

Reservations with DVC points are a competely separate thing and do not qualify for the promotion. If you think about it, Disney has no need to offer deals and incentives to DVC members to book their own points that they already paid for to use.
