Free Dining with DVC stay?

If I were to rent DVC points and stay at a resort during a Free Dining promotion, would I be eligible somehow for Free Dining? Thanks!

No, only if you were to book a DVC resort through CRO. DVC members (and their guests) are entitled to book the Dining Plan without needing to book a package, however, so you could always add the dining plan to your reservation.

Free dining requires the cash payment of the rack rate for your room and the purchase of tickets as well, through Disney reservations.
