Free Dining, Who Got It, and What Did You Get?

OK Manager told me that I was right I should not have to pay another deposit! I'm now booked with free dining!! For a total of 1 hr 29 mins....now I can go to work.

This thread is great! But 80% of it is about holding on the phone... and I thought it might be fun to do a quick results only thread also ?

I got off the phone with the change at 1 hr 11 mins! Got 2 kids ready and off for the bus while on hold! I used the Disney Visa for the original VISA so she didn't have to do anything w/ the credit card. I am so happy now - man I was so stressed out!!!!

Hmmm...I used my Disney Visa for my original room also and she still made me add another deposit. No matter, it all has to be paid anyway, just wondering why it's different for different folks.

I got 40% at CR MKV and GF already with a code and did not want a package. I did the math for the 10th time and I am going to stick with it.

I am so happy for all of you. I have done free dining at POP many times in the past and it is the best feeling.

So here's what I'm doing about the battery...I just hung up this phone to charge some more and took the other one to wait on. I figure if I switch off every 15 minutes or so, I should be okay. I can't believe I'm doing this. Anybody get CR tower?

Call time: 7:03 am, CM answered at 8:18 am, call finished at 8:36 am. I am "Super Mom" (ha-ha)...I got 5 kids fed and ready for school with a phone pressed to me ear this morning! The CM picked up just as the younger 3 were getting on the bus!

I booked Pop Century for 8/29-9/1, standard view, one day base ticket with free 3 days of dining for $431.52. Also made our ADR's at Kona and Jiko. This is a 15 year Anniversary little get-away for just DH and I. We can't wait!

Good luck to everyone still on hold...they will pick up...eventually!!!

So happy for all of you......even tho I have bounceback dining from Sept., we tried to go past the 9-27 checkout and were told 3 times....definantly NO! Maybe I need to call and ask whats up. I also tried to add my inlaws onto our ressie, for a 3 night stay...while we were there.....with the FD bounceback...and they said NO, again. I think it's time to call WDW and ask!

I guess I will stew on it today and decide if ti's worth a call tonight after the phones calm down.

Don;t mind me....just venting about WDW inconsistent CMs. Hope everyone gets off hold and is able to take advantage of FD. Good Luck All!

Anyone else having a problem with the connection? The music keeps breaking up. I am worried that *when* I get through it will be difficult for the CM to make my ressies.

I just wanted to let everyone know to please confirm what you are reserving when you're on the phone...While the CM I got was super nice, she was rushing. When I told her that I wanted to do the Free Dining, she started pushing the Deluxe Dining, which I had already been thinking about doing anyway. So I told her yes, to please add that to my package. I also told her that we wanted a preferred room, which she also confirmed. But I just got my confirmation e-mail a few minutes ago, and it only shows the regular Dining Plan and not the Deluxe. It also shows a standard room and not a preferred. Guess I need to call them back to see if they can change it. Just want everyone to be aware...I know they are super busy, and I appreciate her being so nice, but I'm just glad that I caught those things

1hr 20min!! Got POR 9-1/9-8. Tried for CSR but only had a king room available. Guy told me there were 392 calls on hold and they were looking at 1:45 hold time.

All Start Music 08/26 -09/02 w/free dining, I was on hold for 45 minutes, WDTC had trouble modifing. The CM had to get help because the flight was included in my reservation, but she figured it out. No extra deposit needed. Total call time 69 minutes, 41 seconds.

I was just on hold with the GG for over an hour and a half. I was able to get free dining on the Beach Club Studio Villa, but not on our room - the 2 BR villa.

So, mixed bag. Happy for my parents - kinda bummed for my family and my brother's!

We were going no matter what, so I guess I can still count it as a "win!"

We arrive on 9/19, and did get it for the length of stay. Our res. # stayed the same, and he never asked for codes, just if we used our Disney Visa for the deposit.
