Free Dining, Who Got It, and What Did You Get?

I was on hold for 15 mins...had to drive to work...luckily I was on my cell phone. They pickup about half way to work.

CM told me she had to call guest services to see if I could get it past the 20th. Another 10 mins later she finally book it for me...as I was sitting in my parking lot.

All Star Sports is what I got.

BTW, never had to sit on hold, I went straight through!!!

I just modified my reservations. 8/30 - 9/5 POP Preferred w/deluxe dining, park hopper & insurance.....$1,585.94 for 2 Adults

The code didn't work but she let me have it and when she asked me for $200 on my visa, I told her that I had already paid the $200 deposit with my visa so she said that was fine. She was very helpful.

Called about 7:01- answered in about 10-11 minutes. We get to keep our original Pop Century reservation for Sept. 19-27. 2 Adults, 2 children, 1 day base ticket, total: $1,027

FYI- as long as you check in by Sept. 20, you get the entire stay as free dining.

Another FYI- if you already have a resort reservation, you still have to put another $200 deposit down today.

I asked my CM if I needed to pay any more today and she told me no, not as long as I had made the original deposit using my Disney VISA.

I am previously booked for 8/16 to 8/26...has anyone been able to get the free dining plan added for 24th throught the 26th.

Also, I saw some were able to get the dining plan added efter 9/20...would that work in the opposite direction since I am staying there after the promotion starts?

Just finished up with my reservation! September 15th through 18th at Pop Century. I was also able to get all of my ADRs with no problem at all! Of course I did not ask for LeCellier, and was advised by my CM that it was completely book for my time there. Good luck to everyone!

YEA!!!! We're at the POP from 9/20--9/28!

YES, they will let you have FD beyond the 20th if you check in by then.
We did NOT have to book a preferred room (we don't like to be by the pools).

She did say that the code we (I) was using "AYG" was not the correct one ("She laughed kindly and said that's from some boards, isn't it--lots of people are calling with that one, but it's not the one I am supposed to use.) But it wasn't a problem.
She did push the Deluxe Dining (we did not get that).

She didn't say if it is the same code for THURSDAY'S group, but I think if you call on Thurs. it won't be a problem at all.

Oh, my Husband wants to know how much difference it'd be to book a MOD instead. I told him it'd be 63 plus tax a night. For 8 nights that's almost twice as much. Am I wrong on this? He'd rather bump up but I'm happy at the POP since we don't plan to be in the rooms much.
