My husband has decided that we are going to try the Free Dining so we are going at the end of October. We will even be there on Halloween.

My question is....Which restaurants are NOT included in the Free Dining?

What are your thoughts on the Free Dining?

Rainforest in animal Kingdom
Rainforest and T rex at downtown Disney
Victoria and Alberts I think?

those are the ones I know

Here is a good site that gives you all the info you need about ddp. It also has a list of all restaurants that are included in the ddp. EVERY restaurant in the four parks and the 99% of the ones in the hotels are covered on the plan. Some in ddd are not, like TREX. But either way the list is included on this link.

We did the ddp in november and enjoyed it. It was easy peasy and we got to try a lot of restaurants we normally wouldn't eat at. We are doing free dining in sept/oct and got all the restaurants we wanted.

Good luck! Planning is half the fun. Just make sure you book early on you 90 day mark.

um, what Free Dining are you getting at the end of October? I thought the regular free dining was over October 3? If you have signed up for the Disney Visa Free Dining, my understanding is that you will get the Quick Service Dining Plan if you are staying at Pop Century (reading that as your upcoming trip in your signature.) Unless of course you have paid to upgrade to the regular dining plan. Or is there another promotion out there now?

Maybe she's thinking the Disney Dining Plan?

Do you know if that is available for Value resorts at the end of October? If so, I know someone who is interested in going at that time, depending on what promotions are being offered. They would want to stay Value, but they don't want the quick service plan...which is why I wondered if they've extended the regular free Dining Plan passed October 3...

Thank you. This site was very helpful & my husband & I talked it over. We decided to go & not do the Free Dining since we cant eat that much. We only eat two meals a day to begin with. We also like to stick with our favorite Tables In Wonderland. Free dining is a nice thing to have if you can manage to eat everything.

There is one restaurant located inside a theme park that does not accept DDP - Bistro de Paris at Epcot. The only restaurant at a Disney-owned resort that does not accept it is Victoria & Alberts. Most TS restaurants at Downtown Disney do not accept the plan.

Free dining as an offer for the general public has not been extended past October 3 - yet. There are a number of PIN code offers out for later dates but those can be used only by the persons who receive them. Disney Visa cardholders may book free dining for stays through 12/17, but they get the quick service plan free with value resorts and the regular dining plan free at moderates and deluxes, and will need to pay extra to upgrade. It's rumored that the Disney Visa offer may open up to the general public for booking sometime this week.

It was announced TODAY. We saved $1,138 with the FD. The description says it goes to 11/24 but our trip is 11/28 - 12/6 and we got it for the entire trip.

^^Ditto that. There is a code for the general public to use now, I called to adjust our current reservation and it worked just fine! Yipee!!
