Free dining vs Canadian offer and Room Discount

The lack of discount combination has nothing to do with combining offers and all to do with when the offers end. Canadian ticket discount ends on May 20. You can go to the Disney website now and book a package for dates before that and you will be shown the Canadian discount ticket offer as the ticket option for the package. If you want to travel after May 20 you have to work the tickets and the room separately. So you still get both, just booked separately.

Now as for FD vs. ticket discount. For me it was a wash. Same price either with 10% room discount/canadian ticket with DP, 10% room discount/canadian ticket OOP or FD. So I went with free dining because it gives me the most money towards an AP upgrade.

Your statement about the site showing the package with the Canadian discount appears to be untrue. I just priced it and it is not giving any discount off the passes. Has anyone confirmed if we can combine a room discount with a package booked with the Canadian tickets included if it's announced for late fall? If it can't be verified 100% it would be best for me and my party to change to a room only and buy the tickets separetly but then I am concerned a reservation number changes and we are out the 75$ gift card at CBR.

This is so confusing..I dont even know if Im getting the best deal now..we will be going Aug 12-20 (booked bounceback, so that date was included), for 6, all "disney"adults by then, with a 4 day tix at AoA, I believe total was around $5985..plus whatever we have to add to upgrade to reg ddp

I wanted to change resorts to a cabin at the Fort, as it would be around the same price as AoA, but at least it would include the reg ddp and we wouldnt have to upgrade..I called this week and they said that there was no availability, but it must just be with the promo, because when I try online it lets me book free dining, but only qsdp with the cabins.

If I try and price it all separately, how/where do I add the dining portion, if I add to room its a package and I cant add to tix? So can you not have dining plan unless a package?
