1) Can you call and see if you have a PIN even after you book? We just booked last night, but I did it online and didn't even think to call to see if I had a PIN...oops! I keep reading to call and NOT say you have a ressie and ask...what's the difference?

2) Is there a time frame to add a promotion? Let's say they offer something like 3 weeks before I go, can I still add it to my ressie? I know I might lose the resort I am in....but just wondering!

We're booked from 9/27-10/3 and I am hoping for SOMETHING to come out!!!

1) Yes you can add a PIN after you are booked. As for calling and not telling them you have a reservation... there is NO benefit to that at all. If you do have a PIN, they will simply quote you with the PIN, and adjust your total to the best deal out there.

2) I am not sure the time frame, but I am pretty sure you can change your reservation anytime prior (if a better deal is out there).

We added the Visa Kids eat, play and stay free promo to our ressies. The only issue we had was that it was within 45 days of our trip and had to pay a $50 fee to change it(still made out way ahead)

yes, you can do that (switch from one promo to another, assuming rooms are available at the resort you request for the new promo)... but keep in mind that the dates for the 20/30/40 deal are likely not going to be the same for FD (or whatever the fall promo is)...

as far as your deposit goes, disney can re-apply your deposit from vacation A to vacation B, so no need to put down a 2nd deposit...

WHY WONT THE DEALS JUST COME OUT??? I am soooo anxious to go and waiting for the deals!!! Do you think it would be smart to just book my trip now and wait till the offer comes out and change it? I have never had to book a trip on my own until this year so I am trying to weigh all the options!!

I am also thinking about just booking the trip. This weight is killing me. We are somewhat flexible. I would hate to book for the 16th or 17th and a deal comes out for the 22nd. What to do, what to do,lol!!!

Same here. I've got everything done (time off work, airline tickets, etc.) but I haven't booked with Disney yet. I'm waiting for a good fall discount offer.

Patience is a virtue.

I'm a big fan of Wait til the deal comes out to book. As it has been stated before you are not guaranteeing the resort you desire if you book before a deal comes out. You may have to change things. I also think that people who book ahead only to change to FD if it comes out, are lowering the inventory if FD available to all of us.

I have two pin codes and a 15% discount for campground code and still cant make up my mind. We already booked 7 nights Oct 30th not using any discounts.

2 discounts are until 8/14 and other is until 12/31 ....... none apply to our dates.

Just talked to CM and she said try back end of May and keep checking email and WDW website for more fall discounts to come!!!!!!!!!

I will go as long as one deal or another is offered. It will however affect how long I stay. If i get free dinning it will save us so much money. If another deal comes out I hope its just as good! Wouldn't a % off room plus fd be awesome!

I really think that noone knows right now and anything you hear is just people guessing. At first, people at least went by last years info plus when the other promos were expiring, now I think they are just totally guessing.

We will only know for sure when it is released. Until then we try to be patient and not pull our hair out.

The last week in April makes sense though. There's a pretty significant group of PINS for free QSDP that expire April 30. They could be waiting for that time frame to close before releasing Fall deals. So either the last week of April, which is only one week of overlap, or the first of May (perhaps Monday, May 3) would be reasonable guesses.

But as always, I completely agree that the CM's know as much or less than we do here!!
