free dining this Sept?

If you are interested in FD past Oct 2 I will bet you'll have to wait longer then those going in Aug/Sept. The past few years Disney has released FD for Aug/Sept (ending early Oct) in March or April. If/when FD is extended it likley won't be offered until a few months later. FD for Oct - Dec was offered towards the end of July last year.

Yes i know that. got all the price brake downs in note book already booked the trip for days plus couple extra depending on when we really get to leave how long we can stay..making the payments..

My mom and dad got free dinning and loved it but they love the dinning part more..
we are table dinner and qs for lunch group, last time we went to disney we just planned and got rsvp for the place we wanted to eat at and paid at meal time so i like the idea of most of its paid for up front.

but free dinning would be like almost 1k off the price of the trip and hubby and kids want to stay at the allmovies resort i want to stay at the poly but got out voted...boo hoo so the room discount wouldnt be that big, but oh baby free dinning would even if i pay for the up grade to reg dinning

LOL..I got a pin email for free dining and the last date was October 2nd.

I also got that pin Aug 15th-Oct 2nd
....Making my ADRs Sunday, from what I hear they are booking pretty quickly. Someone called the morning of their 180th day out and couldn't get Le Cellier.

We are looking at staying in Port Orleans the first week of December 2010 ~ in the past has the free dining (if they end up offering it) for moderates been for counter service or does it include any sit down dining?

We booked bounce back for this year for the fd. But we are actually hoping for a room only discount so we can stay at the AKL this year.

It has been the Dining Plus (we call basic or regular plan) with 1 CS, 1TS and 1 snack for Mods and higher.

Yes, if it is in affect the first day you check in, you get it for your entire stay.

I have booked Sept. 25th --Oct 3rd at AKL in hopes that FD will be offered.
We will still be going no matter what but sure would be nice to have FD.
We had it for our last 2 trips and loved it. It saves us over $1000.00 for the
DP and going in Sept is Value season and that saved us also. We have 2 Adults and 1 Teen who is considered a Disney Adult (eats everything in sight)
My Pocket book will be so grateful for FD.

Not that I have heard of. I think that CM was wrong..if you question something they tell you, call back and get another one.

Thank you guys for clarifying this for me! I had talked to a CM at the end of Jan. and been told I could not use my code. So, I called today and talked to the best CM in the world....Ernestine....I had to go through another CM before I got to her, however! Anyway Ernestine along with our Magical Journey's rep. Denise fixed this for me and we now have Free quick service dining (since we are staying at a Value) for our entire stay! Now, we need to decide if we should upgrade to Basic dining??? Thank you guys so much!
