Free dining & suites: historically, can you combine?

We're tossing around all our options for our fall trip. DH really would like to try the WL deluxe room/jr. suites. What is the likelihood that you can get free dining combined with that particular room type (or, I guess any suite or deluxe room)? Was it possible the past two years? Thanks!

Has anyone ever scored a discount on the WL deluxe rooms? AP, general, AAA, anything at all?

We had a discount in a Beach Club deluxe room for February (they used to be called junior suites but the name changed not too long ago). I know you can't use a discount for a true suite but the deluxe rooms seem to have them.

Thanks! Good to hear! I wondered about the semantics of it since there is a difference between a true suite and the "deluxe" rooms. (But the WL deluxe room is bigger than the rapidly-dwindling AKL deluxe rooms, right? )

Anyone have experience with landing a discount with the WL deluxe rooms themselves?

Does this mean it cannot be used in combination with a villa, even if booking through Disney rather than on points?
