Free Dining Sept. 09 Thread???

Hello lovely DIS'ers! I have a question.... Has anyone started a Free Dining thread for this year?? If so, could someone point me to it??? TIA!!!!

I haven't seen a free dining thread yet but there are a lot of us on the Sept 09 code watch thread on the resorts board waiting for free dining.

We are trying to get free dining and to do MNSSHP too!!! This will be the first time for the halloween party. We are excited. If 2009 goes as fast as 2008 went, then it wont be long!!!!!!

Why O why didn't I sign up for the bounce back in Sept. like we did the previous year. I am am "IDIOT" , now we have to wait and see if it will be open to the general public like the past 4 years and have to wait and hope we get the resort we want. It was so nice last year already being signed up and no worries, what an IDIOT I am cause we could have always cancelled if we couldn't have gone.

I haven't seen a thread...but we booked the bounceback while at CSR and will be there again September 20-29 for free dining and back at the CSR.

They probably won't announce until at least March. I'd say it's too early for a watch thread, at least an official sticky one.

I think it was early April around the 6th or 9th and if you had the Disney rewards card you could you had a few day head start before everyone else. I we have the card and booked a few days earlier.

Haha I was just talking to FI about this today when we were discussing whether or not to switch to AKL from POR. He said next time we go to WDW we can go to AKL or WL and I'm already like, "We can go for free on my birthday and do FWF, MNNSHP, and maybe get free dining!" We haven't even gone on our first trip as adults for our honeymoon and I'm already making extravagant plans for our next trip!

I'm also waiting on the Disney Visa free dining. I wish I knew what dates would be available, as we are planning on being there on Oct 4th for my grandson's bday, and don't know if we will be booking the last of Sept, or wait into Oct for a 6-7 night stay. We are a little flexable if free dining is involved.
I was thinking that our last trip, we began our stay on the last day of free dining, and got it for intire stay. Does this sound right?

Disney may annouce free dining earlier this year r/t the ecomony.............they may want to see how many rooms they will book with free dining with this new economic reality.....

We booked the bounceback last September with free dining. Will be at WDW Sept. 23- Oct. 4th. Upgraded to the Deluxe plan. Can't wait!!

I would almost say its guaranteed to be offered in 2009 as long as they offer the dining plan for the full year (not that there is reason to believe they won't).

pp, i totally feel your pain about the regret of not booking the bouceback! We were there this past september for 9 nights and it was absolutely amazing... Im really hoping for Free Dining Again, nothing can beat that as far as saving us money! They let the release go on April 10th last year i believe so i still have a while to wait but as long as the code comes out i'll be very happy!! pixie dust for everyone hoping for free dining!!!

I had to convince DH to book bounceback when we were there in Sept 08. Finally convinced him and we are booked in September for 8 nights!

Hi all,
I'm from the UK and we have already had the free dining offered to us over here. I think our UK offer was from late July to early Oct for free dining in any of the moderate resorts upwards. I think I read somewhere that the food and wine festival starts on Sept 26 this year. Thats why we've booked POFQ from 23rd Sept to 8th Oct for free dining plan. I'm sure Disney in the USA will offer the free dining again. (Just my opinion though!) Hope it helps!
