I saw this and popped into the Disney website - am I reading correctly that this offer is only available with Room, tickets and dining as a package, and parkhoppers are the only ticket option? Curious because we have a room only booked in August, but I hadn't planned on parkhoppers and there would be no cost benefit to upgrading to the free dining bundle if we were forced to have hoppers.

Yes it is a package and for the past few years has required the park hopper option to qualify.

That's why it was released so early. July 5's 190 days is only days away. I have a feeling this will be the only free dining this year which means all the Nov/Dec people are going to be out of luck.

Makes sense-with Galaxy’s Edge scheduled to open sometime in the fall they don’t need to discount rooms/packages for late this year.

Just booked BC Aug 25 - 31, 2 adults, dd15, dd10 - $5554.

Looks like you have to have a 4-night stay minimum with a 4-day ticket. I tried doing a shorter stay and the dates were grayed out. Same when I got to the ticket page. Anything under a 4-day wasn't even on the menu.

I booked this instead. I haven't had enough time yet to recover from my last free dining trip (December) and the thought of that much food is still off-putting.

I found it hysterical because I just read a blog post this morning talking about how no rumors have leaked yet about Free Dining, and then BAM it's released like 30 minutes after that article posted.
