Free Dining question

I wanted to book POR with the free dining promotion that ends today but it hasn't been available for my dates, 8/28-9/4. I've been checking the website to see if anything opens up and noticed today that POR is available 8/28-9/07 but not 8/28-9/04!

If I book this will I be able to drop the extra 3 days later?

Does this mean I am free to take days off the front and back end and still keep the package? Trying to work something out for parents that is affordable, but running into a similar problem.

As long as you keep the minimum number of nights required for the free dining promotion it won't matter which days you want to drop from the reservation, beginning and/or end.

Thanks! Good to know. Now my parents have a res. with free DDP. Just wish Disney didn't have to make it so difficult. We already jump through enough hoops with their res. system just to find out what dates are available.

wow i didnt know this info-thanks a lot.... my friend was looking for dates from 9/24 but the web site says only dates from 9/22 are available

You have to check in before 9-22 in order to get the free dining

Yep, you HAVE to check in by 9/22. We check in 9/21 and get free dining all the way through 10/1 because we start during the free dining time
