I couldn't be more pleased with our dining experience. We went from Oct.1 to Oct.8. As 3 adults, we spent the equivalent of over a $1000 for the time we were there and we even had a vegetarian in our party.
This has convinced me to buy the dining plan for our next trip. Disney won me over big time, here.
I love the convenience of eating in the parks or resorts for all meals. We use to do it for one meal a day anyway at Disney and then we would go somewheres outside of Disney for another meal each day. It saves a lot of time staying on the premises and it is more magical, too. It keeps you focused on Disney and Disney only. I believe you get more emerged into the whole experience with all your meals on the premises. It's a great rest to do it for lunch at the parks. It replaced the need for a nap on some days for us.
I feel very lucky to have this experience for free. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

What a bummer...I would have love to spread some pixie dust but was afraid I'd spread a cold instead
