Free dining pin expired or invalid???

We received a free dining pin that happens to be offered during our trip this April. I was SO excited. My husband called to add the pin and was told the pin had expired or was invalid. We called the same day we received it, so I don't understand how it expired. It was to our family with the correct name and everything, so I was stumped how it could be invalid as well. Has anyone else had that happen? It makes me very sad. I was excited about saving the $$! :confused3
 
Call back! The cm probably put it in wrong. If you look at the offer it does tell you the expiration date. If it is valid then call back and get someone else. One time I had to fax them my post card because it was not coming up. Once they saw it they gave me the discount.
 
We called a second time and we've now faxed in a copy of the e-mail (two times). The first one seems to have gotten misplaced?? The booking date is in March, so it's def not expired. Hopefully they will help us. They're supposed to research and call us... waiting is the hardest part. If they don't call in a couple of days, I will be calling back!:confused:

This is exactly what I was going to say to do, call and ask to speak to a supervisor and fax them a copy of the email and the pin code information. They should be able to take care of it for you with the fax copy of the pin code info. I'm pretty sure a few others, here on The Dis, have reported that they had to do this.
 
I'm elated! They just called me back and had figured out the problem. They applied the pin and saved me lots of money. So glad we got a pin; I had been waiting nervously since we booked the trip a couple of months ago. Now, we're all set for our trip. Just have to wait 86 more days... :rolleyes1
 
So glad it worked for you! I've never gotten a PIN and have been to Disney resorts 18 times. Thursday, when everybody was getting PINs, I opened my e-mail to find one from Disney Destinations. I was SOOOOO excited, but it was short-lived. They sent me...............(drumroll please) an interactive snowglobe!!! :headache: I couldn't believe it - I thought I'd finally gotten a PIN. Back to waiting for a general public offer. :rolleyes1

I to got that email, I got up and did a happy dance! Then i opened it what a disappointment.
