free dining pin and I almost had a heart attack.

So I checked last night and there was no pin under my name. So i ordered a dvd. Priced a few vacations. Priced a few more this morning....and this afternoon BAM a pin code.....problem? When I clicked the link and entered my info it said invalid pin code. So i called anyway and the lady had me repeat it a few times then asked my email then finally said I'm sorry that pin is attached to the xx family....I said that's my maiden name! I had a different account prior to getting married! So she said well hold on a minute....then was gone for what seemed like an eternity and finally came back and said I'm sorry there is no availability in POR preferred for your dates but if you want to switch to pool or garden then I can get the rate for you. YAY! I then told DH I saved us 1455 and he was happy.... then said more money to spend while we are there! So relieved buy I was so scared that since my name has changed they wouldn't give it to me.

So glad it all worked out and you were able to use the pin code to get the resort you wanted.I also received the email this afternoon.Hope you have a wonderful trip!

The same thing happened to me. I had an OLD email address from before I was married, the only reason I keep it is because I still get Disney pin offers on it. I called to apply it and the poor guy was very confused because the name & address were different. But once I explained he gave it to me with no problem. I saved over $1100!!! I woke my husband up to tell him.
