I posted a few days ago, i am going to take my DD to WDW for her 18th birthday :goodvibes
Anyways....i was pricing out a 3 day trip w QS dining, and i saw that free dining runs into OCt this year.
Would you take her a month BEFORE her birthday to take advantage of free dining OR would you take her on her actual birthday ( no free dining during that time)
** we would stay at a Value resort, the total is $782.66 ~ 3 day MYW package, 3 day tickets & Dining.( not including Airfare) is that a good deal???
** Edit: Also found all star movies for $731.84 - this has got to be a good deal right?

I have to add that we would not take the birthday admission, we would do the b-day FP's.....we will be arriving late afternoon on her birthday ( a Wednesday) and it would be a better use of our time & $$ to do the Fast passes.

Thank you

Tina

I would absolutely take the free dining!!!! There is no question and you can still celebrate her birthday when you are there. If you have no intention of taking advantage of the free admission thing on the birthday, then I would take the freebie you CAN get, and just do it at a different time from her actual birthday. Free is free and dining is supper expensive so that will take a hunk off your expenses especially if you like to go to the sit downs and aren't into sharing.

I say GO FOR IT!!!!!

If you do go for her actual birthday, then instead of Fast Passes, why not take the Birthday gift card, which is equal to one day's admission?

Then the birthday girl can treat herself to some souvenirs:thumbsup2

ITA, it wouldn't be a question for us, it'd 100% be FD.
