Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

justanothermark is correct; you don't have to wait for the offer to show up on the rewards site or wait for the email (you may or may not get one), can still call at 7am eastern and ask cm for the Disney visa free dining offer. Some will know exactly what you are talking about and others may not, so ask them to please check their morning messages or ask their supervisor. You can also log on here at 7 am and within a few minutes folks will start posting that the offer is live and they are booking; or not, but we are thinking positively that it will happen. Good luck!!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks for this! I was just coming to ask what time CS opened for calls!

So, how many here now knowing that fd will be here soon have changed there adrs about a hundred times?

Hi - first time poster, so please excuse my ignorance.
I know on the first page the dates for the FD are posted, but do we know if the Room dates are the same or different. We have 12/5 - 12/10 at the POR. Wondering if a RO discount is possible? Thanks

There's a separate thread for those. But in a nutshell, room discounts are from September 29-December 23 with blackouts between November 23-29.

I just read and was trying to find it for you that yes RO dates are being offered and it's said that they will run from sometime in Sept to Mid Dec with only the week of Thanksgiving blacked out. I know Joe or Smitch or Pluto posted it somewhere but now I can't find it. I'm sure one of the three will see you're question soon :)

Ha you beat my typing!! I knew I saw you posted it somewhere. I took a few min trying to find it again lol

Yep. It will be confirmed here by 7:15 or so. People will be posting while they are still on the phone with their CM. :rotfl:

I'll be in marketing meetings some of Monday morning, but I'll still be able to check in early and at lunch to see how things are stacking up for everyone.

Ok if someone could help a girl out. We are going Nov 17-23 & staying at POP. We have already purchased the QSDP & know that is what is available at value. We will be upgrading to DP. I know that the upgrade is $19 per person per night. So my question is, hoping someone could do the math cause I apparently can't lol, would it be better to stay value & pay difference to upgrade or move resorts to a mod. Not sure which would be the cheaper route. Also there are 3 of us & all adults.

TIA :)

I think it would be better to move to a mod depending on what room type is available and what room type you are paying for at a value.

I know for one of our group with 4 Disney adults the mod standard room prices out cheaper then value standard and upgrading.

For a family of 4 with 3 Disney adults and 1 child and upgrading both assuming standard rooms the value is cheaper by 68ish dollars.

And for two adults the value is cheaper when upgrading with standard rooms....

Can anyone see what I spent a large part of my afternoon doing? ???

Pricing out POP vs POR in standard rooms its $141 cheaper to stay at POP and upgrade.

EDITED

Pricing out POP vs POR in standard rooms its almost $200 cheaper to stay at POP and upgrade.

This is true, but I look at it as only $200 to make a huge step up in resort type. I decided on CSR because of the price difference, and for that I'll get a nice room, a rockin' themed pool with a slide, and a jacuzzi.

It's your call, if you want to go as inexpensive as possible or use as an opportunity to check out something you may normally not experience.

Thanks guys. My DH & I would really like to try a mod, preferably POFQ, but DD loves POP. I especially want to try something different with menu changes. We are booked in a standard room at POP. I'm jut not good at math so that's why I asked. :)
