Was it "free" dining your AP holder friend got without having to buy a ticket? They always required a 1 or 2 day ticket. DVC AP holders can get the dining plan without having to buy a ticket (normally its part of a room and ticket package) but its not free.
I think you misread the post you quoted. They said they booked with a 30% off room code instead of FD which was better for them since the friend already had an AP.

I like it...but I'm confused about the "bench" thing. It looks like some kind of combo until. There were drawers on the side, and a fairly narrow looking bench area with drawers under it. The TV sat on top of it...so what is inside those large cabinet doors under the TV? Its shallow..do you think they'll move the TV from on top and put it behind those doors? I've never seen a piece of furniture like this. I hope the drawer space is adequate. I only find drawer space adequate at DVC 1 bedrooms. Esp. Old Key West.... they've got SO much drawer space

If I had already been to AoA, I would be booking at All-Star Sports for September. But I have to try out one of those super cute suites!
