Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

And while I'm asking questions, I've seen a few posts where POFQ wasn't available under the pin. Does this usually mean it won't be available to the general public either? There are standard view rooms available for our dates on the website now.

What's available at rack rate on the site is entirely different than what's available at a discounted rate. French Quarter usually has very few rooms since its so small, but it isn't officially excluded like AoA LM rooms.

This is exactly why I can't use a TA. I would drive them CRAZY... I My DH thinks I am a loon because in my spare time I am researching all things disney...lol

I have officially lost my mind these last few days! So excited for the possibility of free dining but TERRIFIED we are going to miss out for one reason or another!

I'm definitely doing it all myself next time though I have had a great TA. The stress is just too much!

I'm already booked POR preferred room for Oct (booked in Feb, going regardless) I just reallyyyyyyy hope they have preferred included in the FD offer. If not ill do what I need to stay at POR with FD, but fingers crossed!

I have POFQ booked under the FD PIN (2 rooms); we had to upgrade from standard to garden view.

Call first thing on the day the promo starts you might get lucky.

I have a vacation booked November 22 - 27 so I fully intend on taking advantage of FD. We are booked in AOA Nemo Suites. What are the odds I get to keep that room you think??

Hi! I was in the same boat for the September free dining offer. Was on the phone at 7 am and there was no availability; it worked out that way for several others too. Cars had the most availability. However, one person on the AoA thread said when the offer went GP, she was able to book a Nemo suite online. Good Luck!! I would start dialing at 6:58 am and if you get the recorded phone lines are not open message, redial, but if not stay on the line and wait for CM. Sometimes the CM does not even realize there is a person on the line. : ) Assuming there is a Disney Visa offer first and you have a Disney Visa. Pixie dust for luck!!!

There are rumors that one will be released along with the FD deal, but no details on the dates as of now.

Perhaps I'm mis-reading, but are you suggesting a split stay and "carrying-over" the free dining from the first resort to the second resort?
Your dining credits for the first resort would end at midnight of your check-out day from your first resort.
If your second resort check-in day is not included in free dining, you would not get it as it is treated as a separate reservation altogether.
If I misunderstood your post, I apologize in advance.

I wasn't sure of all of the problems that would come up out of that idea. I started at the very beginning of it with asking a cm if I had to physically be there upon check in. With that question being no I just stopped there. This was the idea my brain came up with at 3am between a toss and a turn, lol. So I knew it was probably a no-go due to a lot of circumstances. But thank you for clarifying that though! I didn't know that by switching resorts it would be treated as a new check in day.

She had said something about Adult Play and Dine for Kid pricing (does that make sense?)
She said "their are several different discounts"...I don't know if this meant one of several different discounts it could be, or several different ones coming out to choose from.
She also mentioned that some of the offers are just as good as the free dining.
She kept saying not to worry and to be sure and call back and check.

Lion King, and everybody who wanted that as there 1st or 2nd choice got it the first day of both releases (DV and GP). I believe they were even available the second day but by the third day they were gone. Cars was only available a few days after that. There is always a chance and you could always try the online option too; even if you are on hold to speak to a CM...lol.

Yes. I also used a TA. I don't know why because I have been doing all of the research myself. I am so bad that I even bring my own personal laptop to work so that I can research all things Disney.

I forgot to mention that Disney does not usually post the free dining offer right away on there website. It is usually in early afternoon. So if you call in the morning and do not get Nemo, try online in the afternoon or evening. I think that is how that other individual snagged one; sometimes Disney will make more rooms available later in day. : )
