AoA Suites was our backup if POR books up now looks like we have to choose either ASMu or a deluxe. At least I won't have to worry about ASMu suites filling up because nobody wants to stay there!

ASMu is that bad?

If we don't get a suite but opt for getting two rooms instead what are our odds of getting two connecting rooms?

Why doesn't anyone want to stay at ASMu? We are booked at AoA for Nov 16-22nd and our 1st choice for tomorrow is POP. I'm trying to decide what our 2nd and 3rd choice will be...ASMu, POR, or CSR. But I'm not seeing any positive things about ASMu. Is it because there's so many other resorts or is it just bad?

My guess is since ASSp's counter service is down, they're bussing people to the other AS resorts. ASMu is closest and will probably feel the most impact from it. Not to mention once people from ASSp are there, they'll take up room in the bus lines, as well.

I've never stayed there but if I had my choice of suites I would rather pay the extra and stay at AoA suites (friends stayed there and gave it less than raving reviews). However ASMu is what I will choose vs. Deluxe. Deluxe is out of our price range.

Been following this thread since it started....soooo excited for tomorrow! Just finished the last 13 pages that have been posted since I signed off last night. I just want to say a HUGE Thank You to Joe, Dave & everyone else who takes so much of their time to make all of our trips that much more magical (and affordable!). This is our very 1st WDW trip & I am so very happy to have found these boards. (although I must admit I have become addicted to them very quickly
Can NOT wait til tomorrow (like everyone else here) and wishing everyone gets exactly what they want!!

Man I hope we get some AoA pixie dust! We have a Cars Suite and it's my son's Bday present so no way can we change resorts (well that and family has 2 other rooms at AoA. Can't believe they'd block out the whole resort

I am sorry you are stuck in the same boat with us but....it is a boat still going to my "happy place" so no worries here. We are also bringing a close friend who is 19 and she will definitely need her private space so the second bathroom and the extra room works great for us also. Is it your DD's first trip? I hope you have a wonderful time.

My DD6 second trip and DD2 first. Extremely excited even without the discount. How can you not be when you are going to such a wonderful place!! And I agree the second bathroom is a huge plus. I guess that's what Disney figured if you are staying AOA you are no matter what.

Have there ever been this many hotels blacked out for a discount before? Seems like there are a lot. We are booked at AoA, and plan on changing to CSR - Happy that is not one of the hotels blacked out for this! I feel bad for anyone who is booked at the Mods that are blacked out. I think its going to make a lot of confussion for people! Good luck everyone on getting what you want tomorrow - Pending its really released....

Tomorrow, when someone gets through their booking...it may be helpful if you ask what the resort exclusions are, just for confirmation. Be sure to ask about free dining and room only exclusions, as they will be different.

We have a TA, and I've been in contact with her, and I know shes on the ball, but I'm just so nervous letting anyone else other than myself do this! Shes a disney TA, not AAA or something like that, so that makes me feel better (booked with AAA once and will never go back to them again!) but I still hate leaving it in anyone elses hands!

Odd, I just moved the dates for my trip up 1 day and I go online to see my reservation now and the amount I still owe is $0.60 more? LOL. I'm not even going to bother trying to get that fixed. They can have the $0.60
