Well, I finally got through. No luck or pixie dust here. The best deal my very nice cm could find for me would be BC for about $350 more than POR would have been for us. Unfortunately, POR was already over my husband's allotted budget for the trip, so I doubt he would be willing to add $350 more. sigh. I guess I'll keep trying daily. If not, I guess I'll get to go through all this excitement again when the January/February deals come out! So, what are the odds of FD for that time period? I know my sister got FD AND a room discount last January. You never know.
Unless, maybe, no, I dare not hope my TA got the deal and has not reached me yet.

Keep checking!!! I had to originally book POR AB checking in on 11/7 online around 1:00 am because there was no availablity checking in when I wanted on 11/16 but about two hours ago I called and got a CM almost instantly and there was availbility checking in on 11/17. So YAY!

Me too! I got through earlier but they started having problems with the computer systems. I've been on hold for almost an hour so I'm hoping I get through soon. Everytime there's a pause between music I get excited thinking a cm is picking up. lol

Bummer! Last Jan. was a S/P/D offer. You can't get FD and a room discount. Odds are likely that Jan. 2014 will see the same type of deal.

Your sister must have had a pin because they didn't offer free dining to the general public this past January. It was the stay, play and dine plan or a room only discount.

So sad my dates are excluded this year. We always go the week after Thanksgiving, and have had FD the past two years. This year the same package is about $1000 more due to no FD so we will probably not be able to go

I thought she had said it was a deal through the website, but I don't always pay attention, it might have been a pin. Either way, she got a GREAT deal on her package, and airfare as well. Oh, and she also received a pin for the fall dates...couldn't talk her into going again though. I told her I am stealing her identity...she's my twin sister! LOL

I'm kind of glad we decided to book a hold on the wilderness lodge at the last minute. my TA was able to book online since it was a new reservation and we were able to get free dining plus I got a response right away. I'm assuming she is still on hold right now feel so bad for everyone that had to mess with all this confusion. Now I just have to cancel my poly reservation hopefully it will open something up for someone.

Just got my confirmation from my TA!!! She's awesome. We saved $1,037. We are going to MNSSHP!!! Can't wait. We have to thank our TA's for all of their hard work today.

I know this thread is crazy today....but a little break from the stress. I'm off work today getting our household paperwork explosion under control before back to school. I found my 2010 Disney Trip packet and maps!!! I did not know about the Dis Boards, and just booked and never looked back. Cheers to us hard working Dis Planners!
