I got told on another thread that when my countdown to make adjustments runs out that's when they'll ship. So I guess we'll wait and see.

Maybe that's when that done button will go away? My last day for adjustments is Sept 4th, though, and the CM in tech support told me to get back on tomorrow and try to hit the button again. If it doesn't work then, get on the next day and try. Who knows? Like you said...I guess we'll wait and see.

Wonder how long it will be between October 31st and the full roll-out? I'm guessing my mid-November may miss out on it all now.

I wish we knew when go live will be!!! I know what you mean. Knowing my luck, FP+ will roll out for everyone on my check in day and the park will be mad chaos for all!! hehe I was excited to "test" it, but Im not sure how excited I'll be to use it if its live for everyone!!

I might have told you that. That is what I've read, but maybe it isn't always true. I would love to get them sooner. Of course, my family can't decided what names to put on the back, so I'm still customizing. We at least know which colors we want.

Yes you were I want them sooner too. We picked our colors and we just used our regular names for them though, nothing fancy. My daughter is looking forward to blinging it out when we get there lol

For anyone who may be having trouble with MDE...CM asked which browser I was using. I was using Mozzila Firefox, and she said good! So, if you're going through internet explorer, try Mozzila.

From what I've been told, on these boards, no. You HAVE to plan what ride you want FP for way in advance. I can't do that. I have no idea what park or when were going to. If I'm wrong PLEASE correct me. I personally think its stupid that you can't use it as a regular FP....my opinion.

From what I've read, you can get a KTTW card in addition to your Magic Band during testing. This will give you access to both FP systems, but when FP+ is fully rolled out, the regular FP system will be gone.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. I've been so focused on FD and Photopass+ questions the last couple of months that I am still feeling my way through the whole My Magic+ stuff.

They would have had to make regular fast pass machines to "take" magic bands if this were not the case, right?
Not thinking I'll have to worry about it at all. I figure I'll be stuck in the time after the last test but before they roll it out to everyone. I bet they will do the full roll out around December 1st. Wouldn't want to do it right before the busy Thanksgiving time, and that gives them time to get more kinks worked out before the busy Christmas time.

Oh, ok, but we can still do regular fastpass....just need to use cards....I misread. I thought that post meant we had to do one fastpass or the other. Are the number of your regular fastpasses decreased with fp+, or are they like bonus ones? Hope this makes sense...I'm so tired, but am so excited about our magicbands!

From what I've read the systems don't talk. So you get your selected FP + for the day and can also use FP - as usual. I think I remember there being restrictions on a certian number in a certain time frame for the regular FP but can't remember exactly.

I'm kinda glad I'll miss the test period then. Since my resort isn't one of the testing resorts, it would stink to know some people are getting to use more fast passes than us. The Moms Panel is telling people it's one or the other, but they've probably been told to say that so as not to expose the fact you can do both to everyone.

When it started that was true but it changed with the second test. I've even heard of people that bring old KTTW cards and double dip on the regular FP's then use FP+ too. It's crazy to me that the old ones still work. Read some of the Magic Band testing threads. It's craziness!

That's the word on the other threads, no MB's for little ones. I totally understand the issue with this. I had to purchase a mug for my little one last trip. The problem being that during the test the MB are not available for purchase and when they are, the estimated cost is at least $100, if not more. I think this area is a big fail for Disney. They don't seem understand what parents go through when it comes to things like this. The other thing I am happy about with the MB is if my kids get lost all their info and mine is on those bands. Huge + for me but don't think it should be any different for the under 3 crowd.

That is a HUGE plus for me actually. I find it reassuring that all their info is there one wonders off. I'm wondering if I should put a cell phone number right on the band instead of a name in case someone might get to my kids before a cast member! Hey, you can't get a lost kid back to his or her mama fast enough!

Totally understand and agree!!! And ya know, we have found the rider switch to be more annoying and just opt for the fast pass. We all get fast passes and one parent and one child waits with the baby and then when the others get done, the other two go. With rider switch, because it only allows 2 guests, can lead to disagreements about who gets to go the second time. With FP all is fair among siblings. No bickering: priceless.

Yes! This is TOTALLY what I was worried about!

I'm getting bummed out over here. We didn't get FD bc our week was blacked out, we didn't get a ro discount bc we're at POR and the increase in the ticket cost negated the small discount, and we bought travelocity tickets so I can't link them to do fastpass+ or magicbands (if anyone knows how, please let me know...I've been trying for weeks and have called Disney many times with hopes that one CM will pick up who can help me). I would refund the travelocity tix in a heartbeat, but they are non-refundable. I keep trying to remind myself that I am still going to Disneyworld.

EDIT: Finally! After hanging up the phone with Disney tech support and AGAIN being told by a CM that I couldn't do magic bands or fastpass bc I couldn't get our travelocity tix to link, I figured I'd just mess around with it again. I went in and did the modify on-line check in thing and voila!...it showed up...YIPPEE!!...WOOHOO!!! I was able to customize colors for all of us...and, yes, my DD also wanted purple. However, I'm so thrilled to finally have them I'd been happy with gray! ....Now if I could only get FASTPASS to work.... It keeps showing the same thing I read about others seeing...."We're sorry. The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window." Anyone know how to get it to work???

So what color did you end up with?
Oh, the important questions I come up with!

By the way, you guys have been chatty Cathies today. Jeesh. I go to one small, local amusement park and everyone is having a good time here without me!
