3 nights resort and 2 day tickets.

Crud, we won't qualify for our pre and post cruise stays :(. I wish we could have found a cruise that didn't leave on a Monday that fit in to our schedule/room category/budget. One more question though, we *may be able to do 3 nights before the cruise.....if we added tickets to that reservation, since post cruise we can only stay 2 nights, will the tickets still be good within 14 days or do they expire upon check out?

Iv rearranged my adrs(again) and wanted to know if anyone here has eatten at Mama Melrose in hs. We had ress at whispering canyon that day after going to ak since that park closes early but haven't heard to many positive reviews. Figured on going to hs that night to see the Osborne Christmas lights so I took a 4:45 ress there.

We've eaten at Mama Melrose before and really enjoyed it. It was a last minute, gee we're hungry, let's see if they have a table sort of thing. We liked it so much we're going back this year, with an ADR.

I always keep this in mind when reading reviews.......for every bad experience, a person tells 10 people about it; for every good experience, a person tells 3 people about it. Therefore, always more bad reviews than good ones. :thumbsup2

I just tried booking POR October 18-22 and free dining doesn't happen -- I tried online, suggestions or advice appreciated.

Tom

Hi Tom, I think (correct me if I am wrong) there is a 6-night minimum, so you would need to book 10/18-10/24 to get the FD.

The 6 night minimum was just an example on the website.....it's less :) see where someone replied to me above :)

Ahhh... Good to know! I unfortunately am having the opposite problem, can't find anything with more than 6 nights (we are staying 9) in the mod resort class, so I have a couple of split stays I am trying to mend up. I will say I was able to book at POR with FD this morning for a portion of our trip, so don't give up!!! ;)

Just an FYI... I called one last time for my pins. They run out today. And asked about availability at AOA and was told no again, for the 50th time, for Nemo and they only had 3 rooms left for free dining all together at AOA

Sadly, the only time our family can go to WDW is from Oct 5-11, and for some reason this is the time when the dining plan is not offered for free. :confused3 Even getting hotels is pretty difficult around this time. Out of the moderate resorts, only the Port Orleans-riverside was available at near full price. Anybody know why it would be so busy in early october? Due to Halloween party?

Columbus Day holiday, many schools are off and people extend the long weekend.

Not sure about woods and standard.

Hi HGB,
I'd forgotten that you live in Cary. I live in Holly Springs & work in RTP so I drive through Cary every day to & from work. Sorry I've forgotten to wave as I drove through; will try to remember this evening. ;):wave2:

Yes! We are very close. My DS plays a lot of LAX in Holly Springs/Fuquay. Are you a teacher? I think I remember that.

If you were waving yesterday we weren't here. We were trying to get home from Syracuse and our last flight got delayed from 8pm until 11:20. Got home at 2am. So fun with kids. Lol

Tried again this morning and got POR for our nov dates with free dinning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
