Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!! (And a whole lot more) ~ Part 3

So today is my Birthday I decide I am going to call Disney and see if I have any pins attached to my name. I know the last pin codes just expired but I thought maybe I could get some pixie dust if there was an old one there. Well there was nothing under my name or my husbands of course But as I am saying Thank you for your time blah blah blah she tells me that "Tinkerbell just told me that you will have a great Birthday surprise, so check your e-mail today!" We are staying at AOA which of course isn't included in the free dining offer but I am still holding out hope to somehow get it And now my Birthday is going to be spent checking my e-mail until something from Disney Destinations shows up! Any gueses as to what it might be? I really am hoping it is a FD pin but that seems a little to good to be true!

YESSSS!!!! The Vera Bradley Disney collection will be available at WDW on Sept 21!!! Another of my hometown hand bag makers, cinda b, is also debuting bags at WDW this fall too!

I know! I can't wait to buy one or 2 when I go in October!

Well I haven't received an email from TinkerBell yet I really didn't expect anything when I called but when she said to check my email it really got my hopes up for something! I have even been checking my spam folder I currently have a RO discount so we are saving about $150 but free dining would save us about $1000 so I will keep watching and waiting to hopefully see something from Tink

We received our MVMCP tickets and our ME tags in the mail today. I'm surprised that our ME tags came so early since we don't leave for 4 more months, but that's one more thing to check off the list.

Just had to share my excitement with those who understand - dh doesn't get as excited about Disney and the girls don't know we're going.

OMG! I am so excited! I e mail Disney several days ago telling them how disappointed I am that my reservation which I've had since February does not qualify for free dining or a resort discount. I am staying at BLT in a one bedroom theme park view. The phone rang this morning and the caller ID said Disney's Art Animation. So I answered and it was a man named Corbit telling me they received my e mail and they were giving me free dining! WOO HOO! So glad I e mailed them. Made my day Oh and this is a $1240 savings for me!

I finally got my $1240 credit on my credit card today for my free dining!

They typically have mini-fridges, however due to a defect they all have to be replaced. BUT, I read a little while back that 4-5 resorts have already been replaced with the new ones, and guess what??? I can't remember which ones or which site I read that on. Will keep searching...

Iv rearranged my adrs(again) and wanted to know if anyone here has eatten at Mama Melrose in hs. We had ress at whispering canyon that day after going to ak since that park closes early but haven't heard to many positive reviews. Figured on going to hs that night to see the Osborne Christmas lights so I took a 4:45 ress there.

Stalking again...Mama melrose for us too!

I was checking the website this morning to see what is left for availability for the time period we are going and noticed POR has Garden view rooms and Royal rooms available. So, if anyone is looking for FREE DINING at POR for Nov 11-18th you might be in luck today.

OMG! Finally got POR for more nights! We are at 9 nights now (wanted 10) and I am happy staying with this just to not have to deal with the stress of trying to find this on a daily basis! Funny thing is, I had to be transferred to guest services because they couldn't find it when I called in. Anyway, just had to share the joy!

Thank you! and I found what I had read (yea! not totally crazy, yet!) I read this on Tikiman and one other blog I can't remember (I think I subscribe to too many), but they are: Poly, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge, and Animal Kingdom Lodge that have been reported to be complete with the new fridges installed; can not confirm if this is official, so take with a grain of salt.
