Free Dining making crowds too big???

We are going Nov 5-11th and I am staying on DVC points with DDP but heard that in regular resorts free dining was offered. What do people think will it be packed during this time? Will it be close to Christmas levels?

Nope. We've gone during free dining since they introduced it in 2005. The reason they offer free dining is because they can't fill the rooms without offering a huge discount.

We've never seen huge crowds - they have always been very managable (think 25 minute waits in lines - TOPS).

The November free dining was not offered to everyone - only to Disney Visa cardholders and through targeted, nontransferable emails and postcards.

It will not be anywhere near Christmas crowd levels. They're offering because they need more guests to fill rooms, and the "free dining" discount packs them in like no other.

However, the restaurants might be full. If you need table service reservations, now is the time to make them if not sooner.

We have our ADRs but many I could not get even 90 days out that is why I am worried it will be more crowed then I thought- It is also Jersy week? what is that like?

Not sure about Jersey week but the reason you are having such a hard time making ADRs at 90 days out is that the reservation system allows for ADRs to be booked 180 days out...the most popular ADRs get gobbled up within a few days (if not the very day) of that mark....the rest start filling up quickly there after....Sad for those that do not make their travel plans that far in advance, yet true.

The Disney Visa free dining doesn't even start until Nov 9th (Sun) . I have a disney visa and never got the offer until heard about it here. We add already paid for Nov 4-12th. at pop with ddp ,going for food and wine festival events and booths! Hope the crowds will not be too bad because my 75 year old Mom is going too. Hope you enjoy your trip.
