Free Dining is on the UK site again?

Does sound like a Tech fault. Have you done DDP before? I like my food but I have no idea how anyone can eat the amount of food on the deluxe plan.

Thanks so much for the info. I was really hoping this deal would be announced, we booked OKW with free dining last year and had been regretting not booking AKL like we wanted. We have now changed to the same price for AKL that we would have paid last year! Only £200 more rather than nearly £600.

I priced this up last year for the POFQ but didn't book it due to the job situation. I didn't book the 14 nights for the price of 10 but now see that the DP is back for our dates (first 10 days of August) and now I am going to book it. It is the same price as when I priced it up last time so just need to book it now to tag onto the Chicago trip :thumbsup2

I priced up the following: 3 adults, 3 children (5,8,12) for 15th -29th October at OKW, in a 2 bed villa with 14 day Ultimates and free DD. The total was £4103. I thought this seemed pretty good, what do others think?

I can't afford it this year:sad2:but if they have the same offer on for next year...

:headache:

We booked on the very similar deal last Dec for coming Sept and it's now coming out roughly £100 less than we paid - which I can live with - but it is now offering inclusive hire car which we weren't offered last year.

Don't think I'll be telling my fiance about the new offer!!!

Its not actually Disney rental, it just redirects you to Alamo site but still cheaper with USrentacar Just looked at 2 dr intermediate for 16 nights, with Disney/Alamo £359, USrentacar, Alamo £347 or Budget £298
Also with Disney/Alamo it would not give me an option to upgrade to Gold cover.

May I just ask if anyone has stayed at OKW or SSR before.

We are a family of 6 currently booked in at the FWC in one of the cabins for this coming October and although we love the Campground, this deal would make it cheaper for us to stay in a 2 bedroomed villa rather than in the cabins :confused3

oh what to do !!!!!

How does payment work if you book with disney.co.uk

Do you pay for 1 night and then the rest when you check in? or do you have to pay upfront?

Im thinking of booking SSR for my grandparents for Nove/Early Dec as we will be using our DVC points.

we paid £50 deposit each and then the balance is due in 8 weeks before we go

You pay £50 per person deposit and the rest is paid 45 days before check in.

We did same paid £50pp deposit last Dec, have a balance due date 7-8 weeks before we go.

The 2 bedroom villas at OKW are enormous! My favourite locations have (large) balconies which overlook water, although golf course views are very restful.

The living room/kitchen is large, there is a separate laundry room, the master has a king bed with access to bathroom containing jacuzzi bath and then on to a further shower room! The other bedroom (opposite side of living room from master) contains 2 queens and a further bathroom.

OKW was the first Disney Vacation Club property to be built, and although the others that followed are very nice, none of them have the size of accommodations - if this is important to you, then OKW is definitely worth considering :).
