Free dining in Late August? Disney visa card holders?

I haven't been on the boards in awhile. Did Disney do away with free dining in late August, the promo use to come out in April sometime for Disney visa card holders. I tried looking through some threads but saw are thinking it's now only in September.

They didn't announced any free dining promotion for August (yet). They have been trying to whittle down the discounts/promos, so it's possible that even if it was offered last year, it might not be offered this year.

The assumption that it's only September is likely based on the 2013 "summer" general public offer, which had dates only in September - none in August. But it can't be assumed that the dates from last year will be exactly the same this year.

The August/September (or just September) offers have been released as early as the end of March and as late as the middle of May, so no guarantee you will see them in April either. Disney Visa Card holders generally have three to five days to book in advance of the general public.

Last year it was announced in May if I remember correctly. We are already booked on a BB from last year and have free dining at the end of August. No guarantees, but that usually means the public offer will be made at that time as well.
