Hi,
Sorry I took so long to respond, was taking care of a sick child, all is well now.
Yes, we have visited during the summer months, July 1997 and then last year, we went from Aug 23 - Sept 2. Not my favorite time of year to go but better than not being able to go at all. I didn't do my hair, either, just scrunch and go! We had the misting fans. A few weeks before Disney last year, we went to Hershey Park with friends, and I purchased them at Hershey. We had to don the rain ponchos a couple of times, too.
We are trying Pop Century - 2 rooms. On past trips we've stayed at the Beach Club, Port Orleans Riverside, ASMusic and ASMovies. (Back in the 80's, I also stayed at the Disney Inn, now Shades of Green.) The kids wanted to return to Riverside but with needing 2 rooms, that raises the cost X 2, and I'm trying to keep cost down as we are going to a Red Sox game in July, and I want to spend a few days on Cape Cod. (Gotta get my beach fix.

)
We love Chef Mickey's for
breakfast. We did H & V in Feb. 2006. We brought our nephew, ('cause we don't have enough kids

) and this was the only restaurant available for the Fantasmic Package. This was his first trip, and we wanted to be guaranteed seating, without wasting a lot of time in long lines. It wasn't horrible, but we have never felt the need to go back, either.
The kids, Disney experts that they are, are already listing the places they want to dine... we have 2 votes for Teppan Edo in Japan at Epcot, 3 for Chef Mickey's, 1 for the Coral Reef, a 17 y/o that just
has to dine with the princesses,

and the little guy, who wants to SIT in the cars at Si-Fi Dine-In, but not eat there.

If the parents get a say, my DH wants me to try and book Hoop Dee Doo, (still haven't made it to this.)
Now, about the snow... I LAUGHED,

and ya wanna know why I could laugh... 'cause I booked Disney and booking a trip to Disney makes everything else easier to deal with!
