This is the lead sentence in the email I got from Disney Rewards regarding Free Dining, "Cardmembers, book now before this package becomes available to the general public on July 12, 2012."

That sounds pretty official to me.

I was told I could book 2 or 3 rooms with my discount. Call back and he wont have to wait.

The dates coming out tomorrow are for Oct-Dec 2012. No rumors yet on any dates for 2013.

Nope, just call and tell them you want FD. They will have all of the necessary codes in their computer. Good luck!

Yep, I spoke with 2 CMs yesterday - one said that she could not discuss the General Public Offer until thursday, the other said I would have to call back Thursday for specifics but, historically, the GP code replicates the VISA offer. So yeah, seems pretty official

I just used my FD pin code around 9:30 EDT tonight to modify an existing reservation - and close to ending the call I mentioned that I was glad to make modifications tonight since the phone lines were going to be lighting up like a Christmas Tree in the morning!

She excitedly said, YES! And that they were SO ready for the biggest promotion of the year.

Definitely official.
