Booked 8 days at Port Orleans Riverside....just now!!!! Free dining rocks!!!

My wait was 75 min approx from start to finish. ABout 55 min actually on hold. Totally worth it!!!!

Pop from Aug 14-22...although 14th is room only with seperate discount! So 15-22 with free dining!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! We did not up grade jsut went with the QSDP!!!!!

The 14th is our arrival day and after drving 1000 miles my DH will appreciate the day of rest!!!!!!!!

Just changed my reservation from Pop century 9/25-10/2 to POFQ same time and still saved 500 dollars total time on the phone was 55 minutes but well worth it.

I had to call because I had already had reservations and the only way to change them was to call to keep my same reservation number so it wouldn't affect my dining reservations.

I was reading and wondering the same thing! Great minds think alike .

Maybe those whom already have a ressie need to call to add FD? Not sure, but I was also wondering if there was some advantage to holding on the phone as apposed to doing it online.

Already had a reservation so I had to call - spent 55 minutes on the phone total, so I think that was about 45-50 minutes on hold and the rest talking to the CM.

I originally had ASMovies, but they didn't have standard FD rooms available, so I switched to Pop. I had been having a hard time choosing between the two resorts anyway, so that helped me make up my mind.

Oh, here's our details -

2 adults, 2 kids (13 and 8, so the 13 yr old is an adult for dining purposes)
Sept 18-26
7 day park hoppers
QS dining (didn't upgrade - don't want to be tied to dining reservations)
$1963

I was on the phone about an hour in total. Not too bad. Free dining saves us just under a thousand dollars so I'm happy

Waited for nearly 2 hours ...
but got exactly what we wanted!

I tried booking online but kept getting a message that said my session had expired as soon as I would click submit!

WDW here we come!

Added my free dining this morning. I think I was the first to get through..lol.
I called at 6:58 and got the recording that their office was closed until 7:00 am. Hung up and hit redial...I got a recording that they were having technical difficulties with their system and could I please wait. A second later a young woman answered the phone and bada bing bada boom...got my free dining. I was done with everything by 7:05.

And I upgraded to the dining plus from the QSDP.

Had a ressie already booked back in February at POFQ for September 20-25. Called at 8:30am today. On the phone for about 40 minutes, but got the free dining!

Can't Believe i overslept this morning,been waiting for this day for months as we all were:called @8:30,on hold for 25 minutes, added FREE dining to our CBR reservation AUG 26-SEP 1st.considered switching to POP and just upgrading but was only saving 138$,never stayed at CBR,hope it was the right decision..YAY H

Same thing happened to me. Got free dining in 5 minutes! Only problem is that WL has no standard rooms blocked for the sale. Had to upgrade to the Woods view which eroded 1/3 the value of the sale. Still psyched though!!

So I added free dining this morning to my WL reservation. Then I noticed that they are also running a 40% promo for room only reservations. That is a better sale at the deluxe resorts! Called back and they modified my reservation again.

they are so good to me!

By the way, no Standard view rooms at the WL on the 40% promo either.

Called and upgraded -
We were doing 40%off room (military discount) + deluxe dining + 6 day tickets = 2815

we switched to free dining + upgraded to deluxe + tickets = 2660

we saved about 150 - but every little bit helps

We are staying in POFQ September 24-Oct 1- standard room
