Woo Hoo! Just booked POFQ for November 12-16 with free dining! We were going to stay at All Star Sports and upgrade the the standard dining plan but for $100 more for the stay we got PQFQ! Can't wait. It will be a surprise for my son's 11th birthday.

BadgerFive, did they give you any hassle over the dates going past the window? I am being told that I can't book part of my trip because it goes past November 15th.

No problem at all. We gave them the checkin date and they told us we were good. I bet if you call back it will work. Good luck!

I just wanted to post that I just called to make a new reservation based on the free dining and I was able to book a LM room at AoA for 10/27-11/2 on the free dining and it was $2 cheaper than pop. Just thought I'd put that out there for all trying and not getting LM!

TA just made our reservation and got a gardenview at POR with 2 queens, so it's not just kings! We're requesting mansions.

You got FD @ AoA for a LM room?! Am I reading that right? I thought LM rooms were not included. I am on hold with reservations now, totally thinking I am going to have to switch resorts to get FD. (Now, if you are saying you got a LM room during that time, but w/ out FD, that's probably because of all of us jumping ship. )

Was so hoping the dates would be extended a little. We arrive 12/15. Just called DH to convince him one more time to let me go down 2 days early. We would save $700 and I would get 2 extra nights. Although I know he is not a good traveler and might end up spending the night at MCO because he cant find ME. It's nice to be needed, but I really wanted FD!! Congrats to all of you that can take advantage!!! I will have to savor every expensive bite of food.

I am assuming this is free QUICK SERVICE dining (value resort), not regular dining, correct? I know you can upgrade for the difference, but usually value resorts are QS free dining and other resorts free Regular dining.

You must charge at least $200 to the DV. If you have already booked with a different card, they will make you pay $200 on your balance in order to apply the DV discount.

I had a cranky, unhelpful CM. She asked me for a code, then did I how did I find out about the promo, etc etc. Finally, she told me she could modify my existing ressie, but I had to put an additional 200 down with my Visa, bc I used my debit card for the original deposit when I booked the package.

So I THINK it's done, the website shows my new package total, but nothing about the dining plan at all. So I'm calling back, hopefully to get someone new and make sure..

I won't feel sure about it until I get a confirmation. Thoughts?

My info on the Disney account is still showing the old price and info. It takes a bit for it all to update. I would give it a couple hours at least. You've made the additional payment, so it should all be okay.

POFQ Dec. 10-16-(had to do a room only res. for the 9th) with free dining! and as I was on the phone someone got the last standard view room I wanted so I had to do garden view....but YAY!

I personally think gardenview is worth the $5, even if you aren't in the room much. It's nice to walk out and not see a parking lot Hooray for free dining!!

A huge shout out to the Disboards! We took advantage of the FD promo and kept our room at POR, just had to move up arrival 2 days. This really is great news! Good luck to every one.

No, just tell them there IS a Disney Visa promotion, and you'd like to book it. They won't know what Disboards is (or care.)
They can look up promotion codes...don't let them tell you otherwise.
