Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

As far as I know, Black has no plans to return, and I can't say I blame him. I bailed on the last two FD threads last fall due to the number of complainers and people who took it upon themselves to harass Chase employees until they gave out codes and then demanded CMs to use them when they were not supposed to. Some here were simply pixie dusted by CMs who were not aware of the one day delay of the release, and when they posted they got free dining, they were called liars. If people can't appreciate info they are given in advance, they no longer get it in advance. Simple as that. Good luck to those hoping to get free dining this year. Hopefully someone new will come along and divulge some info, but don't expect it to be Black.

I'm with both of you. Holding off on booking but my ADR window opens in just under 12 hours from now and I hate not knowing for sure where I'll be. May we all get what we want!

I plan on booking my dining reservation as soon as my ADR window opens and then canceling them if we don't get free dining. We wouldn't be doing any that you had to prepay for anyway. Once the free dining promo is announced I'll book my tickets and room.

So my dates are flexible... We are basically going when free dining is available. I have seen posts on like Facebook and other forums talking about how room discounts can save you just about the same money... I have run the numbers ALOT and free dining is my very best option by far!!!!
So, I have tentatively come up with september25th as a date... If free dining isn't offered then I will change my dates... But fingers crossed it is! I can start making dining reservations next Saturday!!!!
What restaurants would you book ASAP?
CRT? Would you do breakfast, lunch or dinner
BOG?
Tusker house? Breakfast lunch dinner?
Mbybbq???

Would book CRT and BOG right when you are able as those can be hard to get if you wait. Most of the other restaurants, I think that you would be okay with not having to rush to get them. If you want Le Cellier, you might want to get on that one pretty quick as well, but feel that overall the quality has gone down there a bit, and may not be as tricky to get. The other day, when I booked my ADRs, Narcoosees was harder to get a couple days after my ADRs opened up. But, most of the rest I think that you would be okay.

Here is what I do--I "practice" making reservations with the Disney site BEFORE my ADR date hits so I am familiar with the system. Then, I start at 6AM EST on the computer, and your whole trip from the 180 day+ mark should be blue on the calendar for that month. If I have a hard-to-get reservation that I want, I jump to try and get that one first no matter where in the week it is going to be. I think work on the easier-to-get ressies after that. I have never not gotten everything we wanted by doing this. Hope that helps! Have fun! I think that you are safe with those dates, BTW.

The last few days in August have been included in the past, but not the entire month of August.

People received bounce back offers last fall including August 20-31, however last year free dining began for the public aug 31.

I've been lurking for a while, but am about to finally book for October. The dates I have picked are historically blacked out for free dining, but I still have hope. I plan to just book the room in the next few days, then add dining on a later date. BUT i want to book my ADR's at the 180 day mark which I expect to need to do before the dining announcement (mid April will be 180 days out).

I have a four year old daughter and CRT is a must. I understand it is prepaid so my question is: what happens if you don't have a dining plan yet and prepay for the dinner, but then add the dining plan? Or would you advise me to just book a dining plan and wait and see?

Also, with the disney visa do you get to book ADR's early or is that a misunderstanding on my part?

I don't blame him at all, just sad that they ruined it for all of us that had fun waiting. Glad you are still here smitch

Seriously! I wish Black was still here with us. Last year was the best memory: on the phone at 5 am mountain time to get free dining! Hopefully his Facebook page will mention something for free dining soon!

Yes, this was my wonder as well. The September FD was out first and then in July came the rest of the year. I even think one year, it was late February or early March that the FD came out! Last year was kind of shocker when everything was released at once.
